I won a trip to WDW..where would you stay?

I vote to upgrade to Yacht and Beach Club. The pool is fantastic and couples love the bars, restaurants and the closeness to World Showcase. Excellent fine dining at WS (France - Upstairs, Mexico, Japan, Canada).

Or, stay at GF and dine at Victoria and Alberts, California Grill, Citrico's and you must try Ohana's!

it is our family's favorite Deluxe. Others may have better locations and fancier, but overall for Romance, building itself and the animals I'd stay at the AKL any day.

For a family room, one room at a value although will be a little squished at times, will me more than adequate. I remember staying at the All Stars Sports a few years ago, things were a little on the small side, but really don't feel like it if you aren't in your room much. If your kids are young too, they might enjoy the pools much more at the value resorts better because of all the fountains they'll have to play in. The only down-side of the pools is perhaps the lack of a slide... but who stays at a hotel because they have a nicer pool anyways?

And as for not really having a "sit-down" restaurant, you can always go to other resorts i'm sure, especially with the money you'll save from the hotel, you'll have more to indulge yourselves. If you're more of the laid back family though, it might help to stay at a moderate, and only buy tickets for half of the days you are going to be there.
