I wish...

I just wish I was in WDW period. It doesn't matter what part. Any part, every part, all parts. I don't care. I just want to be there. I know I just got back. I don't care. I just let me go. Am I the only guy that is this crazy about Mickey and the Castle? Have I got a problem? I don't think so. It is great there and I want to go again, now and often.

i'm with you bubba. i just wish i was there!!! i'm crazy about mickey and the castle too! (only the female version)!!!

but i do wish i was walking around the mk with the sun blazing, eating a nice cool dole whip, taking pics of my little man (who we call bubba!) enjoying every second of it. that's what i wish for.

I wish I was walking up Main Street... looking at all the lights... listening to the music.... eating a Dole Whip ...smelling the popcorn and bakery stuff... just drinking in the sights and sounds of Main Street... with the castle changing colors while waiting for Wishes to begin....

I wish I was on the Kilimanjaro Safari at AK. That is the most peaceful place to me in all of WDW, and it gets our vacation kicked off just right!

This is kind of OT, but your description of the bus ride reminded me of this experience. One evening when the busses were crowded standing room only and we were on our way to DTD, my then 5 yr old DD climbed onto the lap of a woman on the bus, I gasped and told her to get down but the lady said she was just fine. She cuddled up to the woman and fell asleep in her lap. When we got off the bus, the woman was quietly weeping and I looked at her kind of puzzled and she said "I lost a little girl just about her age and holding your little girl in my lap felt just like holding my own little girl. It was such a blessing, I don't know how she picked me but I'm so glad she did." By then my Mom and I were both crying and hugging the woman. My sleepy little girl had no idea and walked along happily with her grandpa.

That made me cry.

2 sets of our friends spent all last night in line waiting to get into Disneyland for the 50th celebration. They didn't make it in the 1-1000 group, but they made it into the 1001-2000 group. They have been calling us all day to give us updates. I wish we had gone to California for the big celebration.

However, since I have never been to California, right now, I wish I was at the Magic Kingdom waiting for Wishes to begin. I love WISHES!

I wish I was at the end of our long drive to Florida (from MA) and starting our 10 days in WDW with DD3 & DS4 - can't wait to see their faces!
