"buffeterias"!
Consistantly good food option w/o breaking the bank.
I remember one dinner with just my DH and I, after dark in MK. We wandered in to an almost empty Crystal Palace and each got a half of rotisserie chicken, mashed potatoes, veggie, and a roll with butter for $7.95. We got a table for 2 up against the windows overlooking the twinkling lights outside and the beautiful backdrop of the castle! Magical!
Le Cellier in Canada, same year. (1987 or '88) Stumbled upon the "buffeteria in the basement" and had the BEST prime rib dinner for about $12!
We didn't care one bit that we had to push our plastic tray along a stainless steel track and order our food in a fashion similar to a school cafeteria!!! The food was good, the ambiance of the restaurants were amazing and we didn't have to make ADR's 180 days before our trip or even wait for a table when we arrived!
