First off...Congrats to everyone on this board with your upcoming weddings, and those who have already had theirs.

I just got married on Saturday (7/19) in Chicago. I REALLY wanted to have a WDW wedding and when I was looking at all of the costs (through Disney), it wouldn't have worked out for us because we wanted to have 100 guests and my parents wanted to have a 300 guest affair at home as well. So we ended up having it at home.

Everything turned out lovely and I am glad that we had all of our friends and family there, but I still want a WDW wedding too. Well, DH (not a Disney hater, but does not share my love for all things Disney) is well aware of a vow renewal that will be coming in a few years.

I just wanted to say that you all have great ideas and there is someone in my office who is heading off to WDW next week for her wedding. I got a lot of my ideas from The Knot message boards so I know how helpful these things are.

Best of luck to everyone. Maybe now that I am out of my lurking hole, I might comment on someone's TR!

Anyway, we are going to Europe for our HM in a few weeks but I told DH that the first time we go back to WDW we will have a 2nd HM. Probably next year...since he is such a Disney-hater...
