Leaving for WDW in a few days. I wish the DVC rooms had a Keurig instead of a regular coffeemaker. We are flying so bringing mine from home is not really an option. DH drinks only decaf but I need caffeine!

That is what owner's lockers are for. If it were my choice though all the rooms would have french presses since they make the best coffee.

Me too! My husband just got home from a conference at Portofino Bay at Universal and his room had a K cup maker! I would love it if DVC got them too!

Bring him instant decaf!.....or buy Maxwell House "pre filled filters" and ask for a extra coffee pot.

We live within an hour from WDW and I have a Keurig Mini I take with me. It's the reason I bought the Mini.

All Loews hotel rooms have Keurig brewers.

If this were Facebook, I'd "like" your post!

Great idea!

Since i don't drink coffee I wish they had a Diet Mtn Dew dispenser. What that's a Pepsi product, make it Diet Coke or better yet draft beer!

I would love it if there were a way to brew with K-cups at the resorts. Who knows, maybe someday it will happen. :)

We bought the single cup Keurig for our last trip, but sadly it would not fit in our Owner's Locker! But we usually drive, so we just brought it back home and we will take it back with us next time.

I wish Keurig would make a more portable version of the mini...with a built in handle on top. Anyone out there in K-land listening????

SAME HERE! We took our full-size machine to Hilton Head this winter and it was great. We sat in the rocking chairs on the balcony and enjoyed all of our Keurig favorites (cider, coffees, hot cocoa, etc.) under a blanket. It would only be nicer if we hadn't had to lug the machine around.

NO, NO, NO!!! I don't want "plastic" coffee. I always grind my own at home, and if they had Keurig in the rooms, I'd definitely have to buy a coffee maker to put in my owner's locker. Besides that, for those who drink tea, the ability to heat water is a plus. I really hated it when they did away with the tea kettles at OKW.

The Keurig is actually great for heating up water for tea. I'm just saying.

(And many of us with Keurigs have the accessory you use for coffee you have ground yourself.)

I'd rather have a french press to a keurig any day. We too grind our coffee fresh per use and use a professional grade La Cimbali espresso machine at home... to me keurig coffee's taste .. well 'packaged' and plastic and not all that good compared to a fresh pull of a locally roasted bean.

yeah I am a self confessed coffee snob. :rotfl: and rarely drink coffee at WDW

I agree. The mini isn't very mini at all. I'm bringing my Keurig with me this trip. It will be much nicer to get *my* coffee every morning.

Thank you. That is my impression of Keurig too.

Why is this a problem only Keurig can solve? Just bring both types of coffee and make a small pot of each one right after the other.

Thread just reminded me that we have a sturdy camping french press that we should bring on our next trip...

I agree, I've never ever liked the machine made flavor of Keurig coffee (and similar to it). Although I'm happy the rooms have drip coffee makers (which I do use) the best coffee is the coffee anyone else makes and I wake up to :goodvibes A programmable maker is what I'd love to have in the room.

Side Note to all: ALWAYS check the cleanliness of the water bin!!! I've hit two now that were growing mold. :headache: Both times Housekeeping brought a new one to me, (although one was a tiny machine.)
