I agree with much that has been said, especially that Knoebles has great food. It has plenty of tree's for shade and plenty of places to sit. My parents loved to take their grandkid's there since you pay per ride and my parents don't ride the rides. A very quaint place.
I have noticed a decline in choices over the years and my DH had a hot dog from Casey that had a stale bun last week. I liked the old white bread buns much better.
Regarding the quality of food in NYC, we were by the World Trade Center (super touristy) and stopped for pizza, a dirty water dog and a knish. All more expensive than WDW and all inedible.
If you are looking for a high quality good food for the price in WDW, then get the combo plate (chicken and lamb) at Tangerine's in the Moroccon pavilion.
