We bought a Spongebob Squarepants Slip N' Slide today. So we bring it home and set it up in the back yard to play on it. Mo is too scared to try it and can't figure it out. I decide to show her how to do it. So I go running up and slide on it to show her my excellent technique.
Only I forgot how slippery those darn things are! I also forgot how short of a runway 18 feet really is! Especially, when you have my big butt running high speed towards it.
So, I run towards it and start sliding...all is good and it is as fun as it used to be. I'm not slowing down though! I'm passing Spongebob but I'm not stopping! I'm sliding past the inflatable barriers and over them. I'm now sliding in muddy grass and down a hill. I finally come to a stop under a pine tree covered in grass and pine needles.
My friend and the kids are all laughing and DH is just smirking, afraid to laugh for fear I will throw him down the slip n' slide myself!
Needless to say, I think I scared the bejeezus out of Mo and she didn't attempt it again. I ended up grabbing the kids by the chest and bum and throwing them down the slip n' slide.
I am going to be one sore mama in the morning! I'm going to need traction for a Mother's Day gift.

I'm sorry, but your description of your "ride" is making me lol. Didn't something like this happen in a movie that was made in the last couple of years?
