I keep hearing from other pin traders that they are sick and tired, of not finding a single safety pin on any lanyard, and running into people with a page full of them in their books, they claim that these people come to parks in weee hours of the morning and get them all, then want to trade hard for them.
I know its wrong, but I could not help myself We got to the parks really early and set out to collect as many safety pins as we could get our hands on.
And Ill tell you what every CM we ran into had one, and we traded them for it, by noon we had over 20 safety pins.
Now I wonder why would pintraders come up and keep asking us if we had seen any safety pins, the answer is always YEA!!! And followed by, but we got them all. I mean what are they expecting for us to say YEA!! And we told the CM to hide it in his or her pocket and we would send a pintrader their way, so go east 5 feet, then turn right open door to its a Small world, ride the ride and in the dark ask for Natasha
Use the code words, I am Boris, Vladimir sent me, Im here to trade with Moose and Squirrel.
Anyway I digress; here is a picture of my booty for today.

Hahahahahahahaha Now dont you feel silly thinking I took 20 safety pins. I have yet to trade for one, can you believe it.
But every time now that an exclusive pin has come out Ive noticed there are those that are happy, and always those that are ticked off because they dont have one yet. I have heard every tale from the Ebay hungry sharks get them all in the morning and list them on Ebay by noon, or I know for a fact that the cast members are taking them, putting them in their pockets, then wanting to trade them for an LE, or Disney is only putting them on the CMs that have the green or pink kid lanyards, and only the sharks with kids are getting them all. Or I heard they only put out 10 per day.
I cannot verify nor deny these rumors does it happen? You bet your life it does, but not all the time, and is Disney going to do anything about it? Question does it cut into their operating revenue, or their profit margins? Answer no, so the answer is no, but if you think you have a better idea as to how to get them to stop the safety pin sharking, and make sure everybody gets one feel free to post.
Remember if enough people yell stop!!! The bus driver will stop, even though its not a bus stop location.
