I was told MVMCP not on sale today

Thanks so much....we plan on going Nov. 30th so I will make sure to ask for the discount. Is there anything I would be missing if we leave to go eat at the Grand Floridian instead of staying at the MK and eating there? I was thinking of eating at 5:00 and getting back to the MK about 6:30. Is that too late to head into the party?

You won't be missing anything really. Although many prefer eating in the park before the party many also eat in the monorail resorts.

One nice thing about entering around that time (instead of eating in the park) is walking down Main Street with the snow going. Many who eat in the park don't see that unless they come back to Main Street for the parade or specifically to see the snow.

It's all a matter of preference. I've done both. Either is fine.

I made our LTT ressies tonight as well. I just like having things out of the way.

I got my tickets first thing this morning! They gave me the AP discount but it was only for certain nights. I know she said the first 3 dates in Nov. and there was also one in Dec. (the 1st maybe?) but we are going in November so that worked out great.

I got my MVMCP tix last night @ 7:15 p.m. Eastern--but it took me 4 phone calls to get my LTT ressie. I told the CM's that I knew that others had been able to make reservations but they insisted that I didn't know what I was talking about. One CM even told me that the people getting LTT ressies must be doing it over the internet. Yeah, right! Anyway, the fourth call was the charm! The CM made my ressie without a problem! So keep calling if first you don't succeed!

I got ADR for Tony's at 6:05. they said that they are not open until 6:00 for the party and LLT is open earlier. Did I get the correct info?

I have a 5:30p at Tony's. For regular folks not attending the party, they get times till 6:00p. For folks attending the party, they have times between 6:00p and 9:00p. It just depends on which screen the CM was looking on. If she was looking at the "special event" screen with the later times or the regular screen.

As of 1pm EST the CM's are saying they are not available at this time. I called early this morning and was told to return my call. I just did and was told again that they are still not available. The CM also said that it was a problem with their system so I'm unsure if they are selling them or not.

Just keep trying. It's a combination of computer problems and un-informed CMs who really believe they are not on sale yet.

Call the dining #, make an ADR and see what happens.
Someone said that then the tickets popped up.

I'm not even going!! I was checking for a friend. He bought his around 10-11 am this morning CST.

I called this morning when I first found on this site that people were getting them. The cast member that I got was extremely nice and said yes the ticket were available. She took all my information, including credit card. Then she said for some reason her computer would not let her sell the ticket. She put me on hold, and when she returned she said there was a problem with the computers there and that she was transfering me to the Ticket Center so that they could complete the transaction. I then held another twenty minutes. The same lady picked up and apologized over and over for my hold, then told me that some CM were selling the tickets by error and that Disney did not intend for them to be available until May 1, and that the screen needed to sell the ticket had now been frozen so that no one else could sell them until Monday. I hung up and posted on this board what had happened. Someone responded who had actually bought the tickets after I had talked to Disney. I called Disney back. The CM first said that the tickets would not be available until Monday. I told a little white lie and said that another family traveling with just called and said that she had just purchased them. I was again put on hold, and the CM came back and said let's give this a try. She took all my information, it went through and I have tickets for Dec. 19th.

He then transferred me to Juan, who was equally fabulous, to make our ADR for LTT. We will officially be at MVMCP on 11/30, with ressies at LTT for 5:30pm...MMMM!

I had no problem calling around noon est today. I got my tix for 12/12 and ressies for 10 at LTT at 5:20.

My Mom called back around 1:30 est to get her tix and the computer was down. She was told to call back later today or tomorrow.

I just got mine 10 minutes ago for the same date and time!! The CM who sold me the tickets said he had just arrived so he put me on hold for less than 2 minutes and then came back and said Yup! They're for sale! However he was adament about the 180 day rule for ADR's. I mentioned the special ticket window tip BeattyFamily so generously shared and he wouldn't check. I called WDW DINE and had no issues there once I mentioned that window. The CM simply commented that I was his first call of the day for that and now he knows!
