THURSDAY, NOV. 29:

Rise and shine - up and at them. About the only thing I missed by staying at the Dolphin was the Mickey wake up call.

By the way, who’s bright idea was to have breakfast start at 7:00 a. m.? Not mine that was for sure, but I was soon out the door and walking slowly over the Yacht and Beach club watching the sun rise over Epcot.

Breakfast was nice with a nice variety of food. The fellowship was fun too. During breakfast got my Christmas ornament exchange buddy and my picture taken with Buzz and Woody. Mickey first came out, then Belle, Buzz and Woody and then Mickey and Minnie.

After breakfast it was time for thrill ride tour portion of the day. I joined Patrick’s group and we met up at the bus stop. After a photo session, the busses rolled in and we were on our way.

Our group’s first stop was the MK. In very short order we did Splash, Big Thunder, Haunted House, and Space. We all agreed to skip the barnstormer and the tea cups. Along the way had a Mickey bar or two.

As we were walking back up Main Street, they were filming portions of the Christmas Day Parade that will be televised this year. I was torn to stay with the group or stay and watch the filming, but I stayed with the group. We were off to Epcot.

Upon arrival at Epcot, (via the monorail), we got fast passes for Test Track, and while the rest of the group went to Body Wars, I stopped and made a couple of work related phone calls.

Met back and did Test Track I have always used the Single Rider line so it was kinda of neat to see what the building actually looks like inside. Soon, we were on our way filling a couple of cars.

It was time for a lunch break, so off to the Land. After lunch I left the tour as I was about to embark on my type of thrill tour - SHOPPING and watching my credit card smoke.

Via the bus made it to DTD in quick fashion, and was on a mission. Hit the Home Shop, Christmas Shop and the World of Disney. I finished my Christmas shopping and even found a brand new Villain Snow Globe. I had everything but my Mickey pasta shipped directly home (it took 2 weeks exactly to reach me) and a birthday surprise for later in the week.

I even made it to the Lego store for 2 items that Kara has on her wish list. Back to the bus stop and in quick fashion, back in room for a quick drop off and off to MGM for the Fantasmic Dessert Party, Osborne Lights, and the Terror of Tower evening.

Met up with everyone in the Rockin n Rollin fast pass area and we were soon walked through the back of Disney and up to the patio area. Desserts and beverages were served. The hot apple crisp with the vanilla bean sauce was great. As usual Fantasmic was fantastic.

We were walked back to the Osborne Light area. Another first for me. WOW about sums it for me. The lights, music, the snow gently falling, and the special glasses was a treat.

Then, we were walked back to the Tower of Terror for our exclusive usage for the next 2 hours. I got in 10 rides that night, and about laughed myself silly on each and every ride. Even rode the dead man’s seat several times, finding myself floating really good.

The first time we walked through we had to go through the library scene with the short movie, but not again. Would exit the ride, either lose someone or gain someone and off again. It was a good time by all (well I know of at least one person who didn’t enjoy it - but once again - my lips are sealed).

From here, the gang split up - a group went to the Adventure’s Club and others to bed. I didn’t go to the club, but had a couple of Long Island Ice Teas to relax and reflect on the day.

Soon, I was crawling into my bed with a smile on my face and ready for the adventures to start over again.

Wow, what a busy and fun-sounding day. I also can't remember what the inside queue for Test Track looks like...Only did standby line once, in 1999. All other times were single rider!
