It does look like small overhead storage. I did not really notice that.
I do recall being at the back of the bus, on the right hand side near the set up for handicapped passengers and a woman was standing at her seat!
There were regular bus seats where she was, but right above her head was enough room a regular height person could easily stand.
You know how it is on many busses and airplanes. When the window seat person stands, they are usually hunched over, grabbing the seat in front of them.
Some noticed the nice paint job on the busses too -- a metallic fleck paint.
