I was accidentally waitlisted for 366 nights!

Good thing that I called member services today. We have plans to be at Disney over Christmas (partly at the BCV and partly at BWV) and had one night that was unavailable in a one bedroom in the middle of the trip. So I waitlisted for a one bedroom at both the beach club and the boardwalk and was only able to get a studio on cash. I called today to see if there was a one bedroom available on cash, so that we wouldn't have to switch rooms an extra time, the ms told me there still wasn't anything available. I said that I would just hope that the waitlist came through. Her response was "Oh My God you were waitlisted for 366 nights!" They accidentally entered the ending date as 2011 instead of 2010.

Good thing that I called to check on it.

Even more exciting, now that they fixed the waitlist it came through!

LOL! That is one waitlist that probably would NOT have come through. I'm glad you got it fixed and that your waitlist you need did work out!

Glad they got it fixed before the wait lists came through and they began making the reservations.

I was surprised that they were able to get a waitlist for Dec 2010 until Dec 2011 too. That made no sense to me either, but when the girl corrected it she said it would become a priority waitlist, so I wasn't going to complain. And it all worked out in the end, so that was great.

Since reservations and waitlists are only available 11 months out, this doesn't make any sense to me at all.

To bad that there isn't a way to see the waitlist information when we are logged onto the DVC website. That would be the easiest way to see that the waitlist information was input correctly.
