My family and I have been to disney 5 times. Each year we go in Oct. I have a disney visa card so usually if I pay for everything through the year with it I have enough on it to pay for almost all of our meals inside the park. We win a condo off skyauction for around 300-400 for a week, then I would have to buy our park tickets 3 adults this year since my son is 12 6day tickets with park hopper opt. no water parks.

Now this year I would love to do the free dinning and stay onsite since we have never been able to do this, I have been on the website and tried to book a vacation just to see the cost and it is still really high, am I doing something wrong.
We would be fine to stay at a value resort, I really need a kitchen so I seen all star music has a suite. Can anyone tell me how to figure this price or if I need to find a discount code.:confused3 Thanks so much

There aren't any discount packages that have been announced for October yet. The only major discount that is publicly available right now is the 4/3 package and that is only for vacation packages through the middle of August.

Whether or not Disney will offer the free dining has yet to be determined and hasn't been announced yet.

So in other words, the price that you are seeing right now is the best price at the moment -- until the fall (if any) discount packages are announced.

What about all of these pin codes people are talking about? How do you get one or know that you have one? And if you recieved one, and then free dining comes out can you add that to your res.

If you have free dining why would you need a kitchen?

Frigs come in the mods or deluxes or you can rent one for a value resort - about $10 a day. If you look on the budget boards they some frig swaps that would save you even more money!

I have a son that is autistic and he has food issues, I know he will eat some things from the restraunts there but I am afraid if he doesn't and I will have no place to prepare what he normally eats. Does the value resorts have microwaves?

Pin codes are sent out completely randomly from Disney. There is no rhyme nor reason on who recieves one and when they receive one. Most of them seem to be sent via email although some do come in the regular mail.

If you get a pin code and use the pin code you will not be able to add free dining on to the pin code. You are only allowed one offer per reservation so you have to decide which offer is the best offer for you.

For example people who stay at a value resort save more money with the free dining whereas people who stay at a deluxe resort seem to save more money with the 4/3 deal (which is a percentage off the room rate).

Edited to add: There is a sticky at the top of this page about PIN offers that will explain them to you in great detail.

Yes, but they are located in the Food Court the best I can remember and we have stayed at values alot.

If you already made a reservation and luckily got a pin code, just call back and have it applied to your existing reservation. But make sure it's best deal for you.

Have a nice and fun planning. :)
