I Want to Sell Tee-Tee to Other People!!! - July 2013 TR *UPDATE 4/29 pg. 73*

Now, do I post my responses here, or do I go and post them on MEK's TR? :lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao: Sorry...I just couldn't resist. :flower3:

I love the photos of the boys with Duffy...they are just really cute and you can tell they were enjoying their time with the Duff!

You were completely right in how you handled things with Gavin at dinner!

Let me just say you are rockin' that bikini, my friend. I am so proud of what you have accomplished.

We've not been to a water park since 2000. We WON'T climb those stairs to any of the slides and we'd end up in the lazy river the entire day. To me, it's not worth the cost of the ticket. But that being said, I am going to a water park with the girls next month. I'm hoping we go to Typhoon Lagoon because that one is my favorite.

What a wonderful last "everyone together day" at the water park. With the exception of the disappointment at the Ice Berg thingie, it looks like everyone had a great time. And that sundae in a bucket looks really good too.

Bahahahaha! That's why I'm trying to finish these up as fast as I can! I don't think I can get them both done before my trip though! :rotfl2:

Awww, thank you! I felt accomplished, so I figured, "why the heck not?!"

Believe me, the stairs can be a definite deterrent. Jeni and I kept telling ourselves it was okay, because we could eat some ice cream after that. :lmao: However, I could totally agree that spending that much just to go to the lazy river is not worth the price. Typhoon Lagoon is much better though. A lot less climbing.

The sundae in the bucket was incredible.

"Pose Like A Prince"

I am very motivated to finish this TR. I'm hoping to finish my other one as well, before heading out for my trip in May. We'll see how that works out for me though. :rotfl2:

Onward!

So we had made it back to Kidani Village without getting too soaked. We were fortunate to have avoided actually getting soaked with the rain.

Mom and Pop had been there for a little while and anticipated that we would be back soon.

Pop: Wow! None of you got struck by lightning huh?

Gavin: WHY WOULD WE BE STRUCK BY LIGHTNING?!

That child. Oh so gullible he is.

They had gotten a decent amount of their packing done, and we all started packing our stuff too. Mom and Pop were leaving first thing in the morning, while the rest of us were taking the Magical Depress back to the airport at about 4pm. Our flight was departing around 7pm the next day.

We all washed up and got stuff packed while the littles relaxed and snoozed a little bit. It had been a long day, but we had a dinner reservation to make. Where would we be dining on this fine evening?

Now, 1900 Park Fare is my absolute favorite breakfast buffet. So we figured we would try it for dinner. Also mostly because this is the only time you get to see the stepsisters in a restaurant. I'm not going to say no to that!

Joaquin was acting like himself already. And the rest of us, you can totally tell that we had been at the waterpark for the whole day! Man I'm pink. See, I don't tan, I just turn a deeper shade of pink. So while some people might say "check out my tan", I say "check out my pink!"

The PP photographer was actually getting frustrated with Joaquin's antics. This was the first one that was not amused by him. Just let him be a kid man!

See how lackluster the pictures are when Joaquin acts normal? Not cool.

Okay, I pretty much took no pictures of food. I could tell that I was already sinking into my Disney departure depression, because my documenting skills were lacking.

No on puts Baby in a corner. Okay wait....they did put us in a corner.

First up was Prince Charming. He was pretty charming all right. Hubba hubba.

And, he taught the boys how to pose like a prince! They did such a good job.

Anastasia was pretty cool. Not quite as over the top as I would have liked her, but then the boys didn't really know how to react to her either.

Gavin was clearly posing for someone else's camera, which I find hysterical for some reason.

Drizella was a fan of Joaquin, but I mean, who isn't?

This just makes me chuckle so much. The boys are acting all perfect, because I think they're legitimately afraid that she might do something to them.

I do not at all remember what they were talking about here. But I would pay money to be Lady Tremaine.

Cinderella captured the attention of the adult boys more than the littles. I remember Dad and Jason commenting on her cuteness, and how they would eat there every day if they could.

Continued in the next post:

Continued from previous post:

Ohhhh, I do remember that I got this lovely adult beverage. Too bad I do not at all remember what it had in it. It was off of the standard WDW drink menu though, so it wouldn't be too hard to find again.

Jason declared this his favorite meal of the trip. Jason is a huge fan of buffet and variety though, so that wasn't surprising to me. The food was good, but I would not declare it the best meal of the trip. It was a good meal, but the character interaction could have been better. There was nothing extremely memorable about it.

After that, Mom and Pop said that they were going to call it a day. Jeni and Gavin also wanted to go back, but Jason, Joaquin, and I weren't ready to call it a night yet. So the three of us decided to head to the Magic Kingdom for a little while. I believe they had some EMH that night.

Lo and behold, as soon as we got to the park, the MSEP was going on. Joaquin really enjoyed it, so we stopped to watch.

One way to Cinderella Castle? Don't mind if I do.

We didn't really have any plans, and Joaquin told us that he wanted to go on Buzz Lightyear again, so we headed that way.

Joaquin and I rode together, because Jason didn't want Joaquin to steer. That's our family! Competitive to the nth degree. So he rode with me. I don't think I scored too badly considering Joaquin was flinging us all over the place.

Joaquin fared less well. It's okay young padawan. You will learn.

We headed into Fantasyland after that and into the Little Mermaid. The wait time was short, so we decided why not.

I rode the whole ride without taking pictures! I was so proud of myself. I just wanted to enjoy it.

Afterwards, we ended up at the Haunted Mansion.

Again, I didn't take many pictures, because I wanted to soak in my last evening at the Magic Kingdom. The three of us fit in one doom buggy, which was nice. Joaquin likes this ride, it doesn't seem to make him nervous at all.

I checked the wait time app, and lo and behold, Thunder Mountain was only 10 minutes! We headed over there. Sho 'nuff, it was true!

I'm gonna go on Big Thunder. Deer face!

And a final selfie for the road!

Oh my goodness. I cannot even describe the sheer joy of this ride. First, it was at night, which is always the best time to ride BTMRR.

Second, Joaquin LOVED it. I mean, he was freaking out. Not in a bad way. The whole time he was going: OH MY GOD!!!! OH MY GOD, OH MY GOD! HAHAHAHAHA!!! OOOOOHHHHHH MMMMMYYYYY GOOOOOODDDD!

Now, we don't normally allow him to say that. And we did give him a talking to after we got off of the ride, but I'm telling you, it was the absolute funniest thing ever. Jason and I were just laughing hysterically the entire time because of him doing this.

At this point, it was about 11pm. We figured it would be a good idea to get this little to bed, even though I'm sure he could have lasted a bit longer.

We made it back to the hotel by about 11:45pm and he was ready for bed. He told Ommi all about his evening and how much fun he had. I was in denial. I didn't want to go to bed at that point.

I wanted this trip to last forever, but I knew in my heart that it couldn't. I knew what tomorrow brought for us.

Up next: Let's make the most of this final morning.

You rock that bikini! Congrats!

I'll be wearing a bikini for the first time in like 28 years this summer. I doubt I'll take pics though heh

I can't decide which cracks me up more...the pictures of the boys or the quoted conversations! :lmao:

Awww, thanks.

I was hesitant to take pictures, but I figured, meh. What the heck.

I can't decide which cracks me up more...the pictures of the boys or the quoted conversations! :lmao:

Bahaha, I think they work best in tandem. :rotfl2:

Ok, I find it funny that Gavin gets scared on rides but he'll throw himself down an incredibly steep slide! He's so brave! No way I'm ever going on Summit Plummet!

I bet the PP photographer thought you guys wouldn't buy any of the pictures if Joaquin was acting up?

I hate the end-of-the-trip blues...

We have never had any meal at 1900 Park Fare. I've heard breakfast is better than dinner and we are finally having breakfast there in September.

I'm so glad that you, Jason and Joaquin got to spend a final evening at the MK. And you were able to get on some of the best attractions at the park with little wait. You are right...Big Thunder is awesome at night!

Danielle, I'm going to be bummed when this TR is over....have really enjoyed it and laughed out loud so many times!! Dare I hope you'll be doing one for your next trip? Would love to hear how you guys handle the 24 hour day in May! Thanks for all your time writing these. They really are great fun......

Robyn

All caught up!! My kids love Blizzard Beach. We always have a great time there. Loving all your photos and way to rock that bikini girl!! I need to lose some weight myself, but since walking is still challenge, I am just going to eat more salads. I did go down a size, so that is good. I never really wanted to run. I always hated it. Now, a 5K is on my bucket list. Because when the choice to run (or even walk for that matter) is taken away from you .... you actually WANT to do it. Maybe by the end of the year.

Sorry you had to take the sad bus to the airport the next day. But you have a trip coming up soon, right? You will get to ride the Mine Train. We just missed it!!

Susan

Wow! What a great last night. :goodvibes

BTMRR is the best at night! I love your nephews reaction, although I know exactly what you are talking about with what he was saying, cute but has to be talked about why it's important not to do it. I still have to do it with Mackenzie, and she's 14. She doesn't do it often, but they hear it all the time from other kids.

Y'all had one heck of a day! I'm surprised Joaquin lasted as long as he did, especially after having a day of swimming!

And as for the sticking to your guns with your other nephew and not eating and or fibbing about his stomach hurting, I'm totally right there with you. It's hard to stick to it, but stick to it you must or they know they can run all over us and then know that lying works. Little boogers.

The last day is coming. :sad1:

Jaoquin is such a funny kid :lmao: Love that pose!

The boys look adorable posing like princes!!

You can tell in Jaoquin's eyes his is a bit scared of the Stepmother  I can't blame him!

It's always fun to stumble on a parade!

You got to hit a ton of great rides on that night!

Nick and I ALWAYS crack up about this sort of thing. We especially love when people start making a run for it after 2 or 3 raindrops. :faint::rotfl2:

I love that you had a water proof camera to capture the day's events. How fun!

I love the family raft ride. Denny and I were there in October and we had to ask a family if we could ride with them because there were only two of us and you have to have at least four. You should have seen us trying to figuring out who to ask. It was rather comical. :lmao:

I love all the PP pictures. I did not see one PP photographer in October. Bummer. Great pictures.

I am seriously impressed that Popadon did the summit plummet. Wow! :worship: He is my hero! No way. Never. Ever. will I do that!

The kids look like they are having so much fun!

For future reference - they have a really good adult beverage there - its like the GGS in Epcot and its made with Grey Goose only its an entire CUP FULL! Put it on your bucket list!

Popadon has no fear at all...... He used to jump out of perfectly good airplanes.... :rotfl2::rotfl2:

Alright, first off, congratulations on the weight loss, it is seriously impressive!! Good on ya!! Secondly, you ROCKED that bikini girl!! Awesome!!

I have never been to a water park, I really do love reading your tr's recently, they're filled with places I've never been! Lol. I'm sure I'll get to one during this next year!! Bahahaha They do look like an awesome time. I feel like I'll have to invest in a waterproof camera though!!

I feel like 1900's was a little lackluster for ya'll….I've always had the time of my life there, at least with one or two characters rockin it, and the food being perfect, even if the rest wasn't! I feel like the characters were not as great as they should have been for you guys! Lol.

What a lovely night in MK, that really is a great ending to it all!

Haha, don't knock it Dani, pink is an awesome colour. :thumbsup2

I love the idea of character meals, but this one in particular would be hard to pass up JUST because of the Tremaines. Ahhh Cindy's ok, but I love me some Anastasia and Drizella.

YAY, glad you decided to hit up MK. I so agree to the maximum degree. BTM at nights RULES!!!

Looks like you guys had a blast. One of these days I am going to fit the water parks in on our trip. I can just never seem to get there.

Those sundaes look delicious and are super cute!

Congrats on the weight loss! You Rock

We love 1900 Park Fare, especially at dinner! We're not doing it on our next trip because we want to try some place new but its a fave for sure. The stepsisters and evil stepmother are the best.

"Hey! Come check out my pink!" :rotfl: That made me laugh out loud. Blizzard Beach looks like a lot of fun!

Aw man, the last nights at Disney are always so bitter sweet :( I'm like you are and notice my pictures get less & less as it gets closer to the time we have to leave.

The picture of the boys with the Stepmother is great! I love how they look like they're on their best behavior :thumbsup2

YAY for riding BTMRR at night! I totally agree with everyone about it being so awesome in the dark.

Me too! That kid makes no sense whatsoever sometimes. I was completely surprised. Like, you freak out over Expedition Everest, and then fling yourself down this slide that's virtually 90 degrees. :confused3

Actually, the PP photographer never even got close enough to Joaquin. You have to get somewhat close the end of the icebergs before they get any shots. Sadly, he fell off much sooner than that. :lmao:

We have never had any meal at 1900 Park Fare. I've heard breakfast is better than dinner and we are finally having breakfast there in September.

I'm so glad that you, Jason and Joaquin got to spend a final evening at the MK. And you were able to get on some of the best attractions at the park with little wait. You are right...Big Thunder is awesome at night!

Dinner was good, it just wasn't great. But it's worth the visit for the Tremaine's.

We definitely did get some good attractions done while we were there. I was glad we ended up going. It was a good way to end the night.

Robyn

Awww, thanks Robyn!

I will definitely be writing one for the May trip and the 24 hour day. Now, I'm going to already say, I'm an old fart. I know I'm not going to be able to hang the whole 24 hours. I mean, that's just crazy. But I'm going to try my best.

It was a lot of fun! We don't make it to Blizzard Beach as much as Typhoon Lagoon, so it was a nice change.

I can totally get that! When you can't do something well, you want to do it even more. The biggest thing with the 5k is just do it slowly, and you'll be fine. Thankfully, the majority of them are walk/runs, so they're perfectly suited for people to start off after having injuries or surgeries. :thumbsup2 I would root for you!

Yup, we leave on the 15th of May for our trip. I can't wait!

Wow! What a great last night. :goodvibes

The last day is coming. :sad1:

Exactly. We didn't want him to start that habit so soon, but you're right. Kids say it at school and they just pick up on it.

He did last really well! He's a trooper.

Little booger is exactly the right way to put it!

Jaoquin is such a funny kid :lmao: Love that pose!

They were so cute posing like princes! I was so glad they actually did it. They can be little pills sometimes when they want to. :lmao:

We had a great final night in Disney.
