I Want to Sell Tee-Tee to Other People!!! - July 2013 TR *UPDATE 4/29 pg. 73*

I'm just imagining your phone as this emoji: :furious::furious: and shutting off.

Jedi Training looks great, I know DH would love my 6 year old to do it, but he's SO shy, I don't think he would. Looks like they had a ton of fun.

I love the too-short t-shirt. Very Al Bundy. :)

Awesome updates!!

Nice to see JTA from a different perspective than normal! Looks like the kids had a blast and had fun, which is always important, I always feel kinda bad when they seem to be super scared of darth baha!!

It was tons of fun for me too, because I've always just been a watcher. So it was a lot of fun to have the kids involved.

They had a lot of fun. We knew that it was a must do for us, because the boys had been talking about it constantly, after Jason told them about doing it. I knew we had to bee-line it over there due to the fact that it gets crowded quickly.

Joaquin only had his one moment. You can see it in the video when he jumps back from Darth. :rotfl2: But then he got over it.

I have LOTS of catching up to do, but I just saw this and thought of you :) They must have gotten the idea for your pre-planning

http://blogs.disney.com/disney-styl...fully-Disney|InHouse|021914|||esocialmedia|||

I've seen them so many times on vacation. But I haven't had the heart to buy any yet! They're a little on the expensive side for makeup, and I'm SUPER picky about what I buy. I do research and reviews first before I purchase. I've learned my lesson the hard way over the years. :rotfl2: I think I may buy a piece or two on my next trip though.

I’ve been looking forward to the jedi update! (BTW, I love that you sign the kids up ahead of time at DHS now. At DL, it’s still just luck whether a kid gets picked or not.)

I loved all the jedi pics!!! Especially the exciting action shots with Vader. And, of course, the “what??” Joaquin pic!

Wow, good to know that's how it is in DL! We're taking the kids to DL next year, so it's good to know about that ahead of time.

I'm really glad that they take the PP pictures throughout the whole thing and then give you a card. They were able to get great shots while I shot video, so it all worked out.

Those PP pictures are amazing. They really captured the fun those boys had. What a great experience for Star Wars fans! And very cool that you got awesome front row seats for all the action.

I was so glad they took pictures the entire time. They really turned out great.

It was nice that they took us out there before it started. Made sure that the parents and family got front row seats.

It was lots of fun to watch the kids... I know they thoroughly enjoyed the Jedi experience. It was hot though for sure:eek::eek:

It was so hot out that day! I literally thought I was going to catch on fire standing out there filming. :rotfl2:

Love the Jedi training pics! Gavin's hair looks super cool. :thumbsup2 Joaquin is such a hoot. That boy is just entertaining.

JTA looks like such a great experience. It's nice that they have something geared more toward boys. There are so many girl experiences at WDW. Having said that you know my girl is very into Star Wars ;) she was too nervous that she wouldn't be able to defeat Vader last trip so she skipped it.

He really wanted a mohawk that day, so I pumped it full of hair spray and sent him on his merry way. It turned out pretty good, I have to say. He's got nice spiky hair though, so it works out.

I completely agree! It's nice to have something for the boys to enjoy so they don't feel left out. Hopefully Maddie will want to do it when you guys return! She would have tons of fun, and her being a huge Star Wars fan will help. :thumbsup2

Your nephews are adorable!! I enjoyed all the photos; this is an attraction that my kids are too old for, and we would never stop to watch it (especially on a hot day) so it was nice to see your pictures. :)

They had tons of fun. I do recommend watching it on a not so hot day. It's fun to watch. :goodvibes

Wow. That sounds unbearably hot.
Love all the Jedi pics! They're all so cute. Gavin out there one handed sabre fighting, that boy is destined for greatness. Jedi by 13 I bet.
But having said that, the "wha!?" Pic is definitely my favourite too!
Love the video, hehe Pumpkin.

Sent from my iPad using DISBoards

It was definitely one of the hottest days of the trip. Or at least it felt like it because I was standing outside in the burning hot sun for 45 straight minutes. :lmao:

Joaquin's "wha?" picture is my favorite too.

I'm just imagining your phone as this emoji: :furious::furious: and shutting off.

I love the too-short t-shirt. Very Al Bundy. :)

That's pretty much what it did!

Awww, hopefully he breaks out of his shyness sometime soon and he's able to participate. I was a little worried about Gavin, because he's a little shy also, but he hung in like a champ.

Hahaha! Little Al Bundy.

Jedi Training is a blast!!! It's a must do for the younger kids...

My youngest DS did it 2 years ago (he was 4) and they lined them up short to tall so he was the first one to fight Darth... Darth came out and DS turned around and started running off the stage... The Jedi Master had to get him back so he could fight Darth... DS was scared but I was cracking up... :rotfl2:

We'll do Jedi Training again the next time we go... It was that much fun... :thumbsup2

Love the Wha? pictures. What a great experience for the boys and some great shots even though it was so hot.

Ughhh, that heat sounds brutal.

Haha, Duffy is prepared to battle the Dark Side! I love it.

Those pictures are AMAZING! I would not mess with your littles.

It's so much fun for the younger ones! I really hope the boys are still interested in doing it when we go next February.

I cracked up when Joaquin jumped away from Darth. It wasn't the reaction I was expecting from him, which made it that much better.

It looks like the boys had so much fun, I love all the photos :)

That picture will forever go into the repository of "pictures to blackmail you with".

It was super hot outside, I'm not going to lie. I would rethink doing it in the middle of July.

I mess with my littles, but that's only because I can hit them back. :rotfl2:

What a fun time for the boys. I love the photopass pictures. The boys are so different, but both so cute. I so wish they had the Jedi training when my boys were little.

Wow....it was hot if your phone did that. Mine has done that only once and it wasn't at Disney.

The boys had so much fun at Jedi Training, but at that point, we were all melting. Poor kids had been in those Jedi robes for a good 30 minutes, and we had all been standing in the blazing sun watching the whole thing. We decided at that moment, cooling down would definitely be the best thing.

We had really good timing to just make it to a showing of Disney Junior. I was actually just about to call it Playhouse Disney, but then I remembered that it's not called that anymore.

Duh.

We made it into the theater with perfect timing. The show was just about the start. It was pretty full, but we managed to find a few spots on the floor, and the rest stood in the background. Joaquin was sitting a little ways across from us, somewhat on the edge, so he could see the stage.

My pictures of this are TERRIBLE. I will only subject you to the one.

So we were all enjoying the show. Joaquin wanted to tell Jason something, so he briefly crawls over to Jason to tell him something. In the instant that he does this, some woman just walks from the standing room only area and takes Joaquin's seat.

A grown woman....took a five year old's seat.

Jason saw it as soon as it happened. Jason moved over there to tell her that she took Joaquin's seat. She acted like she had absolutely no idea what he was talking about and outright refused to move. So a grown woman at Disney Junior would not give a five year old his seat back.

Had I not been in Disney, with littles all around....I would have had some choice things to say to this woman. Fire started to shoot out of my ears. We managed to squeeze Joaquin in a little further in the front. He was pretty confused and was getting upset at first because he didn't understand what was going on. But Jason calmed him down and he was okay.

After the show ended, this woman literally bolted out of the theater. I think my dagger eyes at her throughout the show were scaring her.

We shrugged it off at that point. After the show ended, we decided that meeting Wreck it Ralph would be in order.

Noticeably absent are Jason and Dad. They were "tired" and decided that sitting and waiting for us was the better option.

Gavin is doing I don't even know what. I'm not sure if the PP photographer told them to act like Ralph or what. It's pretty funny though.

After meeting Wreck it Ralph, we headed into the courtyard and saw that Handy Manny's line was not long at all.

Odd, they didn't have a PP photographer here. But, we can see from my pictures that Joaquin was up to his usual antics.

I'm telling you though, Handy Manny has a super elaborate signature! Man, it would suck to have to learn that signature. It took him like 5 minutes just to sign the books. Haha!

After that, we decided that escaping from the heat for a while would be a good thing. The boys were a little over-heated from the afternoon.

But before we left.....where did we stop?

Heaven, that's where we stopped.

Yeah, we got a bunch of cupcakes. I think we got like three red velvets, one peanut butter and a butterfinger. The boys literally almost had a heart attack, because they were so yummy.

After enjoying our scrumptious snacks, we headed back to the car to go back to the resort. Initially, our plan was to enjoy some pool time. That is, until we saw this.

We actually decided at that point it might be best for everyone to lie down and have some quiet time. Both of the boys pretty much knocked back out when we got back in the room.

I decided it would be a good time to take some pictures of our view.

The time to relax in the room was perfect, because everyone got the opportunity to refresh themselves. The boys were ready to head out to dinner. We left the hotel around 6:30pm.

We decided that we wanted to head to Epcot for the evening to eat some dinner, and then stay to watch Illuminations. In addition to getting some school bread, duh!

There was debate over whether we would take the bus or drive. The problem with driving was the fact that we would have to park pretty far away in the parking lot. So I suggested the good old trick of going to the Beach Club. And telling them that we are "going to dinner". Hey, whatever works right?

It worked perfectly. And in no time, we were heading out of the Beach Club. Joaquin insisted on leading the way. Even though he had no idea where he was going.

One of my favorite resorts ever.

We headed into the International Gateway and into the park. And of course we had to have a PP photoshoot!

Continued in next post:

And now the PP pictures get awesome.

See, the CM wanted them to put their arms around each other like they were brothers. Well, obviously, Joaquin thinks that means "strangle his brother...."

And the coup de grace. Jeni has this one at her desk at work.

We decided that we were going to eat at the Cantina. We ordered right away and Jason and I headed in to our favorite location to get our margaritas for the evening while everyone else waited to grab the food.

And we decided that while we were getting margaritas, why not get some shots too!

It didn't take us long, thankfully the ditch wasn't crowded. On the way out, we decided to act like the general drinking population and take drink pictures with duck faces.

For those curious, mine was a drunk little cucumber margarita, and Jason had pomegranate. His was really good!

However, we were met with a mass of people that were just sitting in the Cantina, not eating food, waiting for Illuminations to start. That was irritating. So those of us who legitimately wanted to eat had no where to sit. We found a table with three seats, so we sat the boys down and the rest of us stood around them. While other people just sat around, la dee da at the other tables, not eating a bit of food. And some of them looked at us standing up eating!

The nachos were the meal of the day for pretty much everyone. These are a favorite of mine.

After we finished eating, we were contemplating where we were going to head to watch Illuminations. We also wanted to stop and pick up some school bread from the Kringla Bakery.

Oh heavenly school bread. You are amazing.

In this area, there were actually tables. And while it's not "amazing" Illuminations viewing, the boys were unobstructed because it's further in the back, and it actually worked out perfectly! They were able to stand behind the bushes and saw everything.

Beautiful World Showcase at night.

Joaquin loved this just as much as he loved the fireworks at the Magic Kingdom. He was hooting and hollering the whole time! It was the perfect way to end the evening.

After this, we decided to head out of the park. It was a great ending to a great day. We walked back to our illegal parking spot at the Beach Club in a nice, relaxed stated.

In the parking lot, somehow we got on the subject of wedgies. To which the boys said "what's a wedgie?"

So simultaneously, Jason and I told Gavin and Joaquin to stand very still in the parking lot and we would show them what a wedgie is.

And proceeded to give the boys wedgies at the exact same time.

Perfect ending.

Up next: CHEVY'S!!!!

What a fun time for the boys. I love the photopass pictures. The boys are so different, but both so cute. I so wish they had the Jedi training when my boys were little.

Wow....it was hot if your phone did that. Mine has done that only once and it wasn't at Disney.

They are complete opposites, but that's what makes them so much fun.

Oh yes, it was super hot outside. I couldn't believe that my phone shut down like that, but now it's not surprising.

Seriously, I am NOT surprised at all that some adult would steal a five year old's seat. I have come to realize that a vast majority of our population is extremely selfish and have a "me" attitude. I would have walked out right behind the witch!

Fun photopass pics with the characters.

And oh I want that chocolate cupcake right now please!

Look at the sleeping child. A great call on resting in the resort for a bit.

Love the photopass pictures on the bridge after the illegal park job and walking over from the Beach Club. The ones of the boys have me :rotfl::rotfl:

Cool spot for the kids to see Illuminations.

Wedgies? They didn't know what they were? Well they sure do now. :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

Howw hard is it for a grown woman to say "oh sorry I'll let the child sit" seriously she needed more than your dagger eyes directed at her :sad2:

Glorious Starring Rolls Cupcakes!!!!

hahahahaha you can tell "the littles" are a riot just looking at the pictures:lmao:

As IF that lady did that!! You guys had some serious run ins with some not great people during this trip!

Welp, glad I’m not in Manny’s range then! Bahaha.

CUPCAKE HEEEEAAAVVEEENNNN

Beach club is gorgeous!! And so are those pp pictures!!! Ahahahaha now they start to look more normal for the kiddos baha!

I would kill to be in epcot with that delicious food right now…man…now I want nachos…. WORST. Glad you had a great evening, it looks like it was a great way to end a day!

Getting caught up on this TR....
They should have summer versions of the Jedi cloaks. The littles must have been baking in those in the July summer sun.

Uhhh not sure what to say about that woman taking a 5 yr old's spot. Wow. No words. At least not nice words.

I would recognize that red velvet cupcake from Starring rolls anywhere! Yummy!

Perhaps they should consider having CMs patrol the La Cantina tables and moving people along who are finished. Of course there are those who will linger no matter what so I suppose that probably won't work.

Oh my gosh! Wedgies. They should never have asked....:rotfl:

AMAZING PP pics! I hope you framed one of the family shots. My only wish woulb be that Popadon was making a more "papadon face". Next time. :sad1:

Ugh. People will never cease to amaze me. Taking a kid's seat at a kid's show? Was she really dying to have a better view of the hot dog dance? :rolleyes2

And of course people weren't eating. GRRR.:crazy2:

I wasn't surprised either. And it's sad that we have to expect that from people anymore. Believe me, I was tempted to find her. And I'm the last person you want to find you. :rotfl2:

He was completely worn out. The car just lulled him to sleep, which was the sign that it was time for us to just relax and wind down.

If they did know what they were and faked it, that was stupid on their part. :lmao: Because if you tell me that you don't know what something is, I'm going to demonstrate.

I completely forgot about the wedgies :rotfl::rotfl:

Hehehe. It was too funny, right?

Right?! I often find that people do not think the way I do.

They are absolutely a laugh riot. Can't take them anywhere.
