I Want to Sell Tee-Tee to Other People!!! - July 2013 TR *UPDATE 4/29 pg. 73*

Things start out all calm and chill and next thing you know you are haulin' it to Italy. :lmao:

Via Napoli is now a must do for me. I really enjoy the pizza and I am a NY girl.
Pizza has to be just right.

Joaquin had a great " I'm keeping myself entertained" dance. :rotfl2:

I do NOT like the sound of a migraine in WDW :(
I have not done the standby queue for TT so I can neither agree nor disagree with the extent of its boringness... But it' appears to be lots of cars, so I'll believe you.
Love your car design by the way!
Yikes. A run through ws for nothing really, I'd be breathing fire too. Glad you were able to keep it together!
Mmmmm Via Napoli pizza, my DH still talks about nothing else.

Sent from my iPad using DISBoards

Hmmmm, something tells me you were tempted to recreate the Simba pic with one of the littles. Glad you didn't, lol.

Haha, I guess Joaquin is just a "Made In the USA" kid with his love of Chevys.

BAHAHAHA, I love that Disney provides statues for photos to show our current mood. Good thinking Disney!

I love ride photos!! That ladies face! Awesome! LOL!!

I love AKL. I haven't stay there...yet :)

I want to go down for a few days during F&W and I think I'm going to book there.

Headaches, not fun :(

Finally caught up! Whew!

The kids doing the Jedi Training looked like lots of fun. My kiddos were too big for that and I'm not sure if Mackie would have been interested. It was always fun to watch the other kiddos though. One time when we were there this little boy was up on stage getting ready to fight Darth Vader and he started crying, it was the saddest thing, poor little guy. And as you know everyone there is cheering all the kiddos on, but instead this little guy got a collective "Awwww!" And then everyone started cheering him on and telling him he could do it, it was the coolest thing I had ever seen a crowd do for someone, only at Disney. :cheer2: :wizard:

I'm glad the boys had a great time. ToT looks on everyone's faces were hilarious, at least the boys survived the "White People."

I had never ridden Toy Story Mania until this last trip and it was awesome!! :woohoo: So I can totally relate to the soar arm thing by the second go around. :goodvibes

I'm seriously loving the faces of your nephew in all the pictures, especially his 'Say what?!?' face and the Epcot pictures. :rotfl: I showed them to my kids and they cracked up.

I want to tell you a little secret about getting to your ADR's late. There is no such thing as late, at least as I'm told by the CM when we've been late. They understand there are things that keep you from getting to your ADR's on time. What I've been told is that the ADR system is to tell them how many people to prepare to have in their establishment in one day. This way they don't over extend themselves, they told me they will always accommodate us and make sure we get in, it just might take them a little bit to get us in. :) Of course this clued me in to how they are sometimes very late on getting us in 'on time' as well, technically there is no on time, only the reservation of them knowing we are coming <this is what the CM's keep telling me>. I hate, HATE being late too, so I always keep Disney Dining and my resort number with me to make sure we call someone to have them call to the restaurant for us and let them know we are still coming. :) Especially for the one's where my credit card is attached.

I hate that you are getting a headache, it stinks to get them. I got a light induced one on my first park day this last trip and I refused to allow myself to think about it. For some reason it went away pretty quickly and didn't become much of anything that a couple of Tylenol would take care. Thank goodness!! I know that's not usually the case for most people who get them. :sad2:

Oh, I am SO with you on that TT queue! It’s the WORST!

The VN pizza looks amazing! (The journey to VN, however, not so great…..)

Uh-oh - next update doesn't sound good. :(

Ahhh, the stress of missing a dining reservation! I hate that feeling when I know I'm going to be late for something and I can't do anything about it. At least it didn't matter in the end.
Waiting for over 45 minutes for TT would drive me nuts...I'm surprised the queue isn't more entertaining? We haven't done it in years, so I have no idea what it looks like anymore.
Not good to hear a migraine is coming on, especially on vacation!

I have a million things running on my computer right now, so it took a good amount of time for the video of Joaquin dancing to buffer.

It was worth it.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh, I am SO, SO behind with reading all the TR's I'm subbed to, but I am still following along. :) I LOVE LOVE LOVE Via Napoli and it is one of my absolute must-do dining destinations on every trip. Their pizza...it's otherworldly. :worship:

Next time, just tell Jason that if he's not with you, he's against you and then make him sit at a different table and wear a sign around his neck if he's late. Restaurant shaming! :rotfl: The description of how your face looked was amazing, though -- I'm sure I'd have looked the same (but you know only good things come out of that particular flaming mouth so...maybe not EXACTLY the same.)

I understand how you felt. I hate being late for something.. esp in WDW. I'd have been so angry with Jason.

UGH! The TT line is seriously horrible. I've only managed to get on it once since it's been remodled and just as an overall experience it's not a fun one!

UGH again at the running through world showcase, that is crazy, and not fun either! Lol.

Luckily it seems like VN saved it all! The food there is seriously amazing, we LOVED it there in Sept and I would go back in a heatbeat, such good food!

I can't believe that woman stole his seat - how rude!!

It sounded as though you all needed a nice cool rest before your night at Epcot.

TT has always been our favourite ride but I'm not looking forward to riding the new version at all as no one seems to like it!

Oh no - NOT a migraine. :faint: I've had those before in Disneyworld in the heat and its NOT pretty.

Perhaps the headache was the result of your mind numbing experience in the TT line. That does NOT sound like fun.

But on a lighter note - I love your car design. The purple is awesome!

And i love Via Pizza. It really is THAT good.

I know! It's really the worst place to get one. I've had them very rarely in Disney. I hate it!

It was most definitely a combination of the stupid line, and the oppressive heat.

I thought my car was awesome. Sadly, my design lost. :rotfl2:

It is that good, isn't it?!

Joaquin sitting with his Pop is such a sweet picture.

Wow...you sure waited a long time just to get in and design your cars. I love the dance that Joaquin did. :)

I can't believe you and Mom hustled and that Jason just strolled over 10 minutes after you got there.

It is a sweet picture. Oddly enough, while Joaquin loves his Pop, he is pretty much obsessed with his Ommi. Mom definitely has his heart.

He was standing there doing that dance for a while, so I had to get it on camera. :lmao:

Needless to say, fire was shooting from my ears when Jason meandered in. He claimed after the fact that he didn't know how reservation was so close. Yeah right buddy.

Things start out all calm and chill and next thing you know you are haulin' it to Italy. :lmao:

I know! So relaxed and then bam! Running through World Showcase.

I think the reason Via is so good is because it's legit Italian pizza. Having been fortunate enough to go to Italy, that's exactly how their pizza is! It's entirely different from New York and Chicago pizza.

Believe me, I hated the idea of it.

Oh believe me. It's mind numbing. And we were stupid enough to do it a second time on that trip! :scared1:

I figured that people wouldn't appreciate me biting my brothers head off. :rotfl:

It's so good, isn't it?

Hmmmm, something tells me you were tempted to recreate the Simba pic with one of the littles. Glad you didn't, lol.

How could you guess!? :rotfl: And the funny thing about that is that Joaquin would have been like "awesome!" if anyone even remotely suggested it.

I suppose he is a Made in the USA lover of cars. We're confused. :lmao:

I love ride photos!! That ladies face! Awesome! LOL!!

I love AKL. I haven't stay there...yet :)

That ladies face was priceless. That may be a new ride face for me. :rotfl2:

I love AKL! You should definitely stay there during F&W!

I really love watching Jedi training, because the kids have so much fun! I've never seen a crier during the training, but I have seen kids jump back before. Poor things. But then the slightly evil part of me chuckles a little bit when it happens too. :lmao:

I know. The white people, right?

You'd never been on TSM?! It's awesome, right? I love it so so much. I'm kind of obsessed really. My arm just isn't in the shape required to do it more than twice in one day. :lmao:

I've known about the ADR late thing. I wasn't actually worried they would give it up. I just really hate being late. However....now that you have to reserve all of them with a credit card, I'm most definitely going to me more anal retentive.

For me, unfortunately, once I get a migraine, the only way to get rid of it is to take aspirin and then to lay down. Otherwise it's not going away. It really sucks.

Oh, I am SO with you on that TT queue! It’s the WORST!

The VN pizza looks amazing! (The journey to VN, however, not so great…..)

Uh-oh - next update doesn't sound good. :(

It's horrible, isn't it! There aren't enough words to describe the level of boring that is that queue.

The pizza was amazing. It made my mood better. Sadly it did not help my headache.

I hate the feeling too! And there was a point in time when we were waiting in line for TT that we were like "do we get out of line, do we stay?" We had put so much time into the line already, that at that point, we just made the decision to stay.

I hated the original Test Track queue. Now it's just....ugh.

I have a million things running on my computer right now, so it took a good amount of time for the video of Joaquin dancing to buffer.

It was worth it.

Hahaha! I'm so glad that it was worth it.

No worries! I fall behind periodically too.

Via Napoli has definitely climbed high on my list. I try to shake it up more and not do the same restaurants over and over again. But I always consider it.

Restaurant shaming! Dude, that's a great idea.

It's terrible. Test Track is one of those rides that I personally can take or leave. The boys love it, but I'm like "meh". I also have absolutely no problem doing single rider.

I could really use some of that pizza right now......

I can't believe that woman stole his seat - how rude!!

It sounded as though you all needed a nice cool rest before your night at Epcot.

TT has always been our favourite ride but I'm not looking forward to riding the new version at all as no one seems to like it!

It was completely shocking. But then, people's rudeness shouldn't really surprise me anymore.

I enjoyed the ride itself. I liked the effects on the inside. The old version actually bored me beyond belief. The ride itself is good. It's just the line. Oof.

Oh noooooo foreboding....

That's uncanny how Joaquin is observant and knows Chevy's. The kid's got some gift!

You have such self control to not say something to your brother about dilly dallying! Good for you. I suppose the relief of being seated with no problems is good enough. I'm a VN pizza fan too. They have awesome sangria at VN too!

Finally getting caught up! Your report makes me laugh out loud, Shanleigh came out asking who I was talking to, I said no one just reading Danielle's TR!:good vibes

The line for Test Track is basically a black hole. I felt that way too. And you think you're getting close when you design the cars...nope.

VIA NAPOLI! That looks sooooo good. Especially since I lived off pizza when I was in Italy, and now American pizza just seems unappealing.
