I Want to Sell Tee-Tee to Other People!!! - July 2013 TR *UPDATE 4/29 pg. 73*

Typhoon Lagoon is our favorite waterpark. It is just so pretty there :) Great family pics and wave pics. Looks like you all had a ton of fun!

So I am going to gush at you for a moment..You and your family are just adorable! You said you could watch Juaquin play in the waves all day and I totally have to agree! Such a little character he is! Enjoying your trip report very much! End gush.

That update put a smile on my face! Cutest pics ever! I got "caught" by the first wave on our first visit there....ME: How bad can it be! SHAN: Pretty strong mom, trust me! ME: Whatever you say dear! Now picture me after the wave with my knees all scraped up cause I didn't listen....I'm reminded of that every trip now :lmao:

Love the family photos....I love how much fun you all have together....awesome!

Awww, I'm glad that it put a smile on your face.

Jeni actually got her knee scraped up in the wave pool, and it stayed there for the entire week. We were commenting the whole time on the trip about the fact that the bottom of the wave pools and pretty much anything at the water park is dangerous.

Hilarious photos of y'all the wave pool!! I could see the tension and drama building with each wave. :rotfl: TL is on my list to do next summer since we did BB this trip. That was a cute photo with your dad laying his head on your shoulder.

I'm still debating adding any photos of me in a swimsuit at BB in my TR! I may need to crop/edit them! :scared:

I like the title of your next installment already!

Hahaha, you definitely could see the tension building the whole time, right?

Definitely go to TL. It's my favorite of the two for the ambience and the look of the park. We did both water parks this time, because of the fact that it was July and all.

I though about editing pictures, but then I was like "whatever" about it.

Hmmm too bad about the bumps causing some minor grumpies, but understandable. Glad they were washed away in the wave pool. I'm not a fan of wave pools. Apparently I have no balance or strength, because I get hurt in them every.freaking.time. I try them! So I've given up. :rotfl: Love the pictures of the kids in the waves though, glad they had a great time!

Yeah, the morning was less than magical, but it worked out in the end and we were all over it by the time we got to the park.

I've been hurt in wave pools many times myself, but I still love them. I'll probably come back with more injuries at some time. :rolleyes1

Haha, nope, just Danielle... allegedly. I hear the gene can skip many generations.

End of TR recap works for me, but then again with my short attention span, maybe a daily recap would... Oh look, something shiny!

I am totally behind your theory of avoiding the regular parks on the weekends. These are usually the days I plan SeaWorld and the like as I don't find the same impact crowd wise.

Ooh, I think'll I'll now edit my earlier comment to read non regular parks are best on the weekends except when they're not. :thumbsup2

OMG I LOVED this update. I don't hear a lot about the water parks, and especially don't see pictures. The wave pool is nothing if not entertaining.

I know I know, I have some witchy ways about me I guess. :rotfl2:

Oh, you were distracted by that shiny thing too!? I thought I was the only one.

We were all on board with avoiding the parks for attractions on that Saturday too just because it was also the weekend after the 4th. I didn't want to contend with that, it's crowded enough in the summer. I think TL seemed really crowded too though, because they have a lot less seats there and less parking. It wasn't horrible.

Typhoon Lagoon is really an awesome waterpark. We love going.

Agreed. :thumbsup2

It's our favorite too, it is just so pretty.

Oh, thank you very much! He's really a cutie and a huge character. Sometimes I can't even keep up with him. He keeps us entertained and on our toes for sure.

All caught up !! Those waves at TL are pretty intense. I have seen people get carried along the bottom of the pool and get all scraped up. YOu need to ready for those waves.

Loving your photos !!

Susan

Nice of Joaquin to share breakfast with Yeti.

What a fun start to the day (well, besides the forgotton passes and room key). I love the picture on the kids faces when the wave comes.

We've not been to a water park since 2000 and Mary has suggested that the girls and us go on our May/June trip. I like Typhoon Lagoon better than BB and I think that is the one we will choose.

Great update!

I'm totally going to have to try that sunscreen! It doesn't seem to matter how often I reapply at WDW - I still get at least a little burned. :furious:

The wave pool looks insane! Is it actually fun? :confused3 Willow saw the pics and is quite insistent that we go to a WDW water park next time.

I have definitely seen people get carried away too. We just hang a bit further back and everything is okay. Well, obviously we went a little far in this time, what we all the kids washing up to shore and all. :rotfl:

He's a sweet boy when he wants to be.

Yeah, the forgotten passes and room key were kind of bummers, but it was resolved quickly.

It would be a lot of fun for you to go on the girl's trip in May / June! I definitely recommend Typhoon Lagoon. Get there right at open and you'll score good seats. The girls will love it.

Great update!

I got slightly pink, but it would fade immediately, which is my skins way of "tanning". I highly recommend it. It's super concentrated, so it's a little expensive, but we used one bottle on 7 people for almost 10 days. And it lasted the whole time.

It's a lot of fun, Willow would love it. My recommendation is just not wading in too far, and the waves are much more manageable then. The wave pool at Blizzard Beach is much calmer.

Great update! Sorry your day got started off on a bit of a bad foot.

The wave pools are fun, but they're pretty serious business!

I love you all appear to be colour coordinating your suits!

I got bloodied once by that wave pool. I know the floor needs traction, but geez, it's rough!
Our strategy is to dive under right as the wave is hitting you, by doing this you don't get smacked by it. I'm not a huge underwater fan but diving under, to me, is preferable to trying to outrun it :)
I love the picture of Joaquin asleep with Yeti, so cute!!

 That's a great update!! I love the faces of everyone waiting for the waves to hit! :rotfl:

Looks like you had fun! :thumbsup2

Can't wait to hear about the rest of the day. :goodvibes

I ended up with scraped knees when we were all at TL in 2011 so this trip I made sure to be more careful.... The wave did catch me but not near as bad :yay::yay:

This was one of our more interesting days I think. The end of our day (or middle I guess) proved to be very interesting too.

They definitely are serious business! You can get totally taken out by one if you're not careful. LOL

We just kinda ended up that way with the suit. Not planned, but I guess the whole "great minds think alike" statement is true. :lmao:

I know! It's insane. I was constantly afraid of scraping my foot on the ground.

I've never tried the diving underwater. Normally, my timing is good with jumping over.

Hahaha, thanks! The faces were funny, especially since they were just random people.

We had a great time. More fun to come.

Yes, yes you certainly did. Bet you're glad that didn't happen this time!

It looks like you had so much fun in the wave pool, I love the kids faces :goodvibes

We did have a great time. It was the perfect way to start our Typhoon Lagoon day.

Foreshadowing, nice! ;)

My family is a great minds think alike family too :rotfl:

All right everyone. I'll be updating over the weekend, but here's a glimpse of my next update. Look really really carefully. Can anyone spot what the heck is going on in this picture?

My next update will bring you more from Typhoon Lagoon and some lazy river craziness. ;) Have a good night my friends.
