I want to go home...

I know what you guys mean, I cried when we left on May 8th after being in the World for 9 days. I would have been okay, except we were in Epcot getting ready to leave to go back to the Yacht Club and then to the airport. The Characters on Holiday bus was coming at us around World Showcase, as I turned around to watch it go, there's Mickey Mouse hanging off the back of the bus waving to us and standing next to a sign that said "See ya real soon!"

I really can't complain, DH and I are going back in October for our 5th anniversary and then in January for the marathon (DH is running the full and I'm running the half with my Mom), but it's still hard to leave! We just plan future trips, I write trip reports (on www.mouseplanet.com, look under Krista Fulkerson if you want to read them), and work on my scrapbook to help fight the Disney blues.

Can totally relate. We have to wait about two years till we go again, and this time last year was right before we were about to leave, and I can't help but wish I could turn back time. You never know though, I could be back sooner than I think, depends if the fates shine favorably upon me..
What gets me through is the realization that after Mother in law and Father in Law move there in two years, that Disney will become a regular thing after that.

we are leaving on saturday & are so excited about it. its ds3 first trip. BUT i am afraid of post disney blues. i hate that feeling. i'm glad to know that i am not alone.

I am so jealous of those of you who are a part of the DVC! My DH and I are really wanting to join the family but at this point, we don't have the money. I know once we do become members, we will be heading home a lot more often. Hopefully soon!

I noticed there are several people planning October trips - I sure hope I am lucky enough to see you there! Here's to hoping...

I hope he has a great time. We have been talking about it for soooooo
long. And saving for it FOREVER. We waited 18 years for my little man and when we first found out we were pregnant, I starting saving for this vacation. My husband said when the baby was 5 we would go. I said how about 3 !!! I just can not wait to get there and see his face when he sees the "mouse's house" as he calls it!!
