Does the 18-55 come w/ VR? I thought that was a typo from the OP. I thought the regular kit 18-55 didn't have VR but the 55-200 did have VR. Am I off?

The updated Nikon 18-55mm that comes with the D60 has VR, to compete with Canon's new kit lens which also has IS.

There's a review of it here if you want to torture yourself. It sounds like the optics are maybe slightly improved but the VR helps a lot.

I guess it would be cool to have the VR, but maybe not a necessity at that focal range. (18-55) I think I would rather put my $$ into some other toy, like the 30mm 1.4 or a 70-200VR 2.8.
