I want to be under 200 pounds...Anyone else??

Awesome job! I really need to get on this thread again. Over my wedding and Disneymoon, I actually gained back the weight and 5 extra lbs. that I had originally lost.

The worst part is, I can't seem to get motivated to go to the gym... and I live in a condo with a free gym downstairs!?!?!? How do I motivate myself??? :confused3 :cheer2:

That's the $64,000 question. I've got a treadmill, stationary bike and weight bench in my basement. DH set up a tv with cable for me. I walk past the equipment at least twice a day doing laundry, and I still don't get on the darn things!
 
Geez...

I'm sitting at 227 lbs. since returning from my honeymoon. Well actually I was at 228... but nothing seems to get me going.

Those darn Tim Hortons (coffee shop) stops in the morning really kill me although I eat well the rest of the day...
 

I am down another pound, so 201.4 for me. I was hoping for 200 by Thanksgivng, but I don't think that will happen. However, since I originally was shooting for 200 by Christmas, I am quite happy with my progress. We had a church pot luck Thanksgiving day dinner tonight, and it was so nice to hear so many people comment on my weight loss. I feel so much better than I did a year ago!

Hello everyone! Some great losses again! I too agree about motivation. DH is great, and the dog helps (she likes her walks) and dieting is going well, but I still need to kick up a bit with the exercising since I keep losing a pound occassionally, when I know I can do better. DS has been sick, but I can not use reality as an excuse. I do, and I know I shouldn't. I need to gather my motivation from all of other WISHERs and just get going. OK! I will do it! DD and DS are more than willing to exercise with me. Come on! We can do it! We are amazing and wonderful and we can overcome anything! There! My soap box speech for myself!

popcorn:: IM FAT NOT PHAT JUST FAT......

Hi all. So here I go again. hopefully downward on the scales this time. I am currently just shy of a duece and a half. 240 BIG ONES to be exact. I usually hit this weight this time of year and am so tired of the yo yo syndrome I find myself in every winter. My goal is to be less than 200 pounds also. Last year I lost enough weight to officially be considered NOT OBESE. WOW that was such a great feeling and I thought if I feel this great at 215 can't wate until I get to 195 or so. I guess that will have to be my goal this year. I am a 40 year old shift worker and do alot of sitting at work. Ive been doing this type of thing for almost 20 years and now I am getting worried about my long term health impacts this sedintary life I've been living has caused. I am now commiting myselft to a gym membership and to change some eating habits. I suppose mind set is the first thing I have to change. Then slow and steady my win this race. Wish me luck and if you have any advise for me would shure appreciate your comments. thanks :yay:

Well girls, looks like we are a bit quiet! Time to kick it up a bit! Hope everyone is healthy and happy! Let's help pkitty going!

I am going to add 10 minutes to my walk everyday this week! I am hoping it will be enough to get me to under 200. I am almost there! Trying so hard, but I guess not as hard as I could! I really hate the Treadmill, but with winter here, I am going to have to dust it off. And to tighten my committment to my new bowflex--which I haven't been doing with some health issue, which are pretty much gone, so my excuses are gone too!

The holidays are coming, and they are stressful! Good luck to all on staying and thinking healthy!

Good grief...I can't believe I forgot to post this... I MADE IT TO ONEderland!! On Friday morning I weighed 199.6lbs!! Thanks for all the encouragement along the way...now I am headed for 172.5 (my 100 pound goal!) hopefully by my 39th birthday in May.
 
I can't even remember when I was under 200. Seriously. I know I got down to around 180 when I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer 27 years ago. I have ballooned since my hysterectomy then. Nothing seems to work for me. My all time high scared me. I am now on the HMR diet and have lost 32lbs. in 6 weeks. I don't know if I just finally reached my bottom but I am finding this program much easier to follow. I failed with WW, phen-phen and many others. Now I have to find the energy to exercise more. I do water aerobics twice a week but that is about it. I'm tying to take the stairs more and park a little farther from the door, but that's about it for now. It also helps that I live with my Mom who is on the same program.
 
Hey, guys, may I join you in questing for ONEderland? I've been lurking a while and am inspired by your guys' successes. I've been in TWOderland (hmmm. . .anyway) since 2000 - and would like to see 199 this time next year - December 4, 2007.

Well, I'm officially stalled at 205.8. I've been here for nearly a month. I don't even know how it is possible to weigh that precisely the same for so long. Anyway, obviously I need to step up my activity. Instead I'm on the computer drinking a LARGE glass of red wine. Yeah, that'll help...

Congratulations!!! Good Job! I hope you continue the downward spiral! and reach your goal!

I am stuck at 201. augh!!! This week I was out of town for work and doing the continental breakfast, lunch in their office and trying to eat good at restaraunts. I tried my best., honestly. I will see results this Sat. I am scared.

I must agree with being stuck on a weight. I was stuck on 212 until this morning! Yeah--now it's 210. Hope this is a trend! :goodvibes

I am sending tons of pixie dust so all of us can 'give away' a pound or two at Christmas!

Well gosh golly! I got a great Christmas present! I lost (2 week period) and am now at 197.5!!!! I am so excited and so surprised too, because I was in another town Monday - Thurs (arrived home 6pm Thurs).
So, I was doing my best with the Holiday Inn Express Continental Breakfast and trying to figure out something to eat at another SMALL place of work (visiting) and then dinner. I had a hard boiled egg twice for the breakfast and english muffin ..........I ended up having those Chicken salad with crackers packs....for lunches....and for dinners (3 nights), gal and I ate at a mexican restaraunt and then Perko's (I had club sandwich) and then Applebee's (I had the WW chick. dinner). It must have helped somewhat!

well, I am excited. I really hope to not to retreat, but I am in touch with reality....so will just continue to do the best I can. I have to be at same location (out of town) 18th to the 21st......
