You don't really think this is serious, do you? I have no doubt that this is some kid in middle school who's bored already.

The OP? I sure as heck hope he's just some bored kid.

But I still like my idea.;)

i wish i was a kid again im almost 41. it would be nice to be a teenager again.

she is my aunt through marriage. she is getting a divorce from my uncle. they will be divorce in march. she is only 4 years older than me. i have always liked her. the whole family still loves her, and they should shes a great women and the divorce is all my uncles fault as he cheated on her. i am just recently singled now myself. do you think i should wait until the divorce is final before i ask her? do you think i should tell my uncle first? if i ask her and she says no, at least i know i wont have to be wondering what if. i been posting here for a little over 5 years just had to start a new name for this post for obvious reasons. i know someone is going to ask what if he want to date my old girlfriend,it will be ok with me.if i wait the almost three months for the divorce to become final she might meet another man before than, than i will be too late.

Go for it :rolleyes1! All that matters is you love her and she may feel the same:goodvibes

I saw this when it first appeared and was thinking OMG! I knew the dis would be interesting. :lmao:

Geez, this sounds like some of my family. The family tree is a stump.

Well, I guess you are not technically related. I'm sure this would cause a whole lot of family drama though.

I think there should be a rule. NO controversial threads unless you have at least 500 posts. Enough of this "posting under an alias" nonsense. If what you have to post is SO controversial that you are embarassed to put your name to it, then you have no business posting it on the net.

The OP? I sure as heck hope he's just some bored kid.

Oh, I do, too!

That's 3 votes for another rule, counting mine. :thumbsup2

thankyou to the few people who seriously answered my question. if you think its ok do you think i should wait until the divorce is final or will it be ok now to ask her?

Not that it wouldn't be weird anyway but...

does your uncle and aunt(by marriage) have any children together?

Because if they did that would totally be way way too weird.

yeh that would be wierd for them....... more then wierd

If I were in your shoes, I'd wait till after the divorce was final, and I wouldn't feel the need to ask the uncle if it's ok with him or not, he's the one who cheated, who cares what he thinks?

yes 2 daughters i think they are about 15 and 12

I think, if a marriage occurred, you would become the step-father to your own nieces?

That might be uncomfortable for them as teenagers. Would they call you "Uncle" or "Dad" or :confused3
