I don't know if it is just me, but I haven't had any luck finding a decent Dreams Unlimited Agent. It seems as though they can't answer simple questions, like can you get your OBC and your Disney Visa credit? Any recommendations would be really appreciated & also please include why you like your agent. Thanks.

I use Kelsie Johnson. She always gets back to me quickly and has answered any questions I have, ringing up Disney to check where appropriate.

I also use Kelsie and have used her for years. She is awesome!

To answer your question - you can combine the Disney Visa OBC with a travel agency OBC, but NOT with other DCL OBC (such as the OBC for an onboard booking).

DH and I use Michele Snoody. She responds immediately. If we have a question that is new to her, she finds the answer.:thumbsup2

I was thinking about transferring my res over to Dreams, but I had a bad experience once before, so I've been hesitant. Can one specify an agent when a res is transferred??? Or only if the booking is original? Thx!

Jodie

I also use Michele Snoddy and she is wonderful. Answers questions quickly and makes as many changes as your heart desires. I highly recommend her. :thumbsup2

Curious--how do you contact and work with a specific agent? It seems like you're given a random agent when you send in for a quote ... And I've gone days between emails, which is why I just booked through DCL for my last cruise

I believe you can request a specific agent. But once you've worked with one (like Michele), they assign all future inquiries and bookings to the same one.

Another vote for Kelsie Johnson! She has been tremendously helpful especially with my upcoming cruise. And if she'll be away for any reason she let's us know ahead of time & leaves a contact in case anything comes up.

Thanks for all of the suggestions, I will try those agents. I know that these boards are monitored by DreamsUnlimited, so I just hope that it works out ok. There are TWO agents so far at Dreams Unlimited that I would recommend NOT using!! We are ready to book, want the OBC, and just can't find an agent who is actually responsive. The two agents that I have had problems with are not mentioned as good agents on theses boards. I don't ever want to be mean to anyone, so I won't list the names publicly, but I would highly recommend not booking with them.

Good luck. I put in a request for a quote for the EBTA after deciding we wanted a veranda last week. Never heard back from anyone. I went ahead and booked it myself through DCL

Merrie Thomas is my agent. I think she is wonderful. I find her to be extremely attentive and knowledgeable.

If you've already paid in full can you still move ressie? Or if you book a VGT rate, can you use a travel agent? confused.
