Why dont they serve a good cheeseburger at FW :confused3 . I like a good burger. (not a counter service burger not that they are bad ) I dont always need a buffet. Liberty Tree Tavern has a good burger but that is over at MK. They need that burger at FW.

I am with you. A good burger is not hard to make. I will sign your petition.

Your camping...Grill one

The best Burger I have ever eaten was at WL Whispering Canyon, I think it was made from Sirloin and charbroiled. It wasnt cheap but it was good. Wl is not that far from FW.

Thats a good idea if they would just let me take my golf cart over there. On our trip before last we rode our bikes over there and ate at the little counter service place down stairs.

I like to camp not cook. At least not at disney. Its not worth it to cook for just me and the DW when we are on vacation. But my dad will cook sometimes over at there site so me and the DW will ride over there and eat. But its never a burger.

I cook at home and I cook at Disney.

My DW is worth every effort on my part to cook what she likes where ever we are. Soon to be 35 years and will continue for how ever long I have breath and movement in me.

Ditto, that would be my best burger that Disney has. I still like ours, but for the non-cookers, go with WC.

My point was you can get nachos, pizza, and buffalo chicken strips. Why not a burger or even a hot dog, maybe a hot sandwich. It just seems odd they dont have such simple foods.

Would make sense to have a hot dog or a burger...does the snack bar at the meadow pool ever offer burgers? I've heard that it's hours of operation vary by the season...so maybe it's not an option all the time even if they offered one.

Considering that they cant even make REAL pizza (the current ones are frozen) I wouldnt look for anything more than what they have now.

BTW... if BDD is in town the best burgers are at my site AND my peeps will back me up on that :lmao:

Yes my whole family was very disappointed when they changed the pizza. I still havent got over that they got rid of the man who sang I'm my own grandpa. I loved that as a kid and my wife never got to see him.

Next time we're at the Fort and smell something cooking we'll have to see if it's your burger.

I know this isn't what you asked for, but if you find yourself near the Beach Club, Beaches & Cream has the BEST burgers we've had on Disney property (grilled like an old 50's diner). Prices are downright affordable (for Disney), too. We ate there for the first time in Dec. and it'll be our first meal when we go back next week. Here's their menu:

I will back you up on the B&C menu, good food and as reasonable as anything on WDW property ever gets.

LONE-STAR..... burgers is only one small part of my grilling plan .. LOL

I think that melt in your mouth.. everything on it... juices dripping off your elbow burger would fit right nicely to the forts down home feel...:goodvibes

Heck set the grill on the porch and watch em cook it for ya.....

SHUT UP JOHN!!! Youre making the rest of us look like lazy, unloving pigs!!! :)

What a good guy.

Yep we are sitting here at FW in our site in the 1600 loop and DW is doing the twice baked potatoes and green beans and almonds and the 2" thick lamb chops are going on the outdoor grill in about 20 minutes. Total cost of this meal is around $8 ... I get the lamp chops 1/2 price at the base which are then frozen, but still great.

For those of you who don't know, LarryJ is an expert at fly-fishing in citrus trees at FtW!!
