DD just ordered herself an I touch and I want to get her a case. I also want to get a screen protector for it but don't want the kind that is a pain to put on and bubbles. It also has to look good so she'll want to use it. Any ideas? She is 15 and this is her first major purchase.

We got DD a mirrored type screen protector at Radio Shack, the guy said they are popular with the girls. DD likes it, it is like a mirror when it's off and nothing once it's on. It was a 2 pack for $12.99 and really easy to put on. Hers came with a silicone sleeve when she bought it and we haven't gotten a case other than that yet.

We got our DS 12 invisible shield by zagg. Our older boy has that one on his that he got and it has protected his itouch.

It is a pain to put on...there is a video on the zagg site showing how to put on. It just came today and we will put it on in a little bit. It cost about 13 bucks from someone linked to amazon.

We got a case at best buy last week. Our other boys has a magnet that keeps the case lid closed that we like. Good luck.

I just got one for Christmas and we bought an Otterbox to protect the body of it, but I still need a good screen protector.

When I was looking Otterbox was the best but they aren't making that many anymore, just focusing on I phones. BLAH

But Ifrogz also got good reviews.

Good Luck!!

I'll have to tell dd about this one. I like that it's easy to put on. My ds has a PSP and we got a screen protector for it that was a pain to put on and bubbled. I know that would drive dd crazy and then she'd probably not use a screen protector at all. I am not sure if hers will come with a silicone sleeve or not. We live by an apple store. Will they have them there?

Most good cases come with screen protectors.

Got DS a ifrogz case it is great I like it much better than my Otter for my iphone.

amazon has them.

if you have a Five Below near your check them out. they have a ton of stuff like that.

I got a 3GS iPod touch for Christmas and after much deliberation among cases, finally settled on a clear case by Riot, found at Best Buy. It's clear plastic, and just snaps on over the iPod very easily. It protects the entire iPod, and there's no problem with bubbling since it's hard plastic. Plus, the front cover is touch sensitive, so you can still use the iPod while it's protected in the case. I'd highly recommend it! :thumbsup2

I took advice from my brother on buying this one; he has a 2GS iPod touch and originally bought a silicone case for it with a thin, plastic cover for the screen. It was stretched out within a week because he frequently docks his iPod. He bought the Riot case soon after and has had no regrets! :)

Five Below has the neoprene rubber sleeves. Also found the protector sheets on Amazon for 2.17 for three of them plus shipping it was like 5 bucks.

I bought both of my kids a new Apple itouch 3 g for Christmas.

They wanted to buy covers and screen protectors but i refuse to pay such ridiculous high cost for it in the stores. So i discovered this website and ordered the screen protectors and itouch covers for cheap. I was happy with the purchases. Both my kids got leather ones. When getting screen protectors, be sure to get the full ones that cover the whole screen, not the partial ones. I had no problems with the bubbles, if you apply it carefully and slowly.

If you are a new customer, it is free shipping.

Check it out..there are lot of sales. http://www.hdaccessory.com and oh by the way, you can purchase the apple ipod 2g's covers, they are the same as 3g's.

Try the cell phone accessory kiosks.

I just bought my touch this afternoon--I was not paying $30 for a case at the Apple Store. I got a skin, for $10 at the mall's cell phone place. For myself I'm not worried about scratching the touch screen.

Getting used to using the touch screen is a whole different story. :lmao:
