Thanks everyone... it sounds like I don't have much to worry about and I should quit reading reviews As far as dated decor.... doesn't bother me but I do like clean rooms. If there is a problem with cleanliness I will call housekeeping.

Regarding whether the rooms are dated (they're not, they're themed): In any case, stainless and granite are on the way out. If you follow builders shows today you'll see that, for example, white kitchens are coming back. White appliances are returning, this time with chrome or pewter handles for an "icy" look. And composition countertops are returning, too, some with new looks that don't resemble granite at all.

wow that is great. We often watch the House Hunters shows on HGTV and are sick and tired of couples saying they can't buy a house because they need granite counter tops and stainless steal appliances?... neither of which I prefer. The granite is cold, hard , chips, looks dirty and unappealing to me, as as for stainless the same feel, I just got a new stainless microwave(no choice) and it is hard to keep clean looking. I feel like I am in a hospital morgue!!! Sorry to each his own...
BWV decor suits me fine, never in 12yrs(staying 2 X a year) not had a clean room and any problem has been resolved.
I always wonder about those posts but great for me if they do not want to stay there. We book Oct at the 11month window by the hour or would not get a room. So all the people who think it is dated please do not book there.
