That is weird, maybe it's the certain hotel? I check through all of them. My Fiance also has a Hilton membership thing so he gets a slightly discounted rate. But at a quick glance for my trip I'm trying to plan all the rooms are about $50 cheaper, with all the hotel fees.
Looking at Feb dates I need, these are the Hilton-brand rates (and I've got Hhonors, so...) for the ones designated Disney Springs Area (without the resort fees which get added on)...
Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista Disney Springs - $246/night
Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace Disney Springs - $240/night
Doubletree by Hilton Orlando Disney Springs - $232/night
Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek - $267/night
Waldorf Astoria Orlando - $316
Yes, the Hampton Inn Orlando/Lake Buena Vista Area is $162/night, BUT that is still more than a Value on property AND that one is not close enough to walk.
Even for my September trip, the only one that is "cheaper" is the Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista Disney Springs. On the surface it is a whopping $3 less per night...but the resort fee wipes that out.
