That's great! I can get OKW or SSR as well, but you don't get maid service except for trash and towels on the 4th day of your stay at DVC resorts. With the temperatures in August so high we shower like twice each day, so I would want fresh towels each day...petty, I know...but it's important to us to not have to keep our rooms picked up and our towels constantly drying.

I am pretty sure if you are staying at OKW or SSR on a cash rate, you get daily maid service. Somoene correct me if I am wrong.

I thought this as well....I know when we switch over to BCV we dont get the maid service b/c we are renting pts.. but this is through disney world directly.. either way.. it doesnt bother me.. i cant wait to see Old Key West. we wanted port orleans mainly for the boat to dtd.. now we get it at old key west

We stayed at OKW last yr on cash for 13 nites and had maid service everyday. If you our on point/dvc than its every four days. HTH.

My DF and I are getting married on August 8th and will be honeymooning at the world from the 9th-17th. I was hoping for moderate to low crowds and by the looks of what I am reading on here, we may have a few busy days that will die down by the third of fourth day. I guess it's better than 8 really crowded days.

I hope for both of our sakes that it is too bad!

We have CSR ressies for our trip in August. I got a $99 rate, so I'm pretty happy about that. I called today just to see if there were any deluxe rooms available...I've always wanted to stay SV at AKL.

So I ask the CM what's available, using the codes from the podcast this week. I expect to hear that Poly, CR, BC/YC and BW are either sold out or only $$$$$$ rooms available. She says "nothing is coming up"...I said "nothing period?" She says..."nothing at all!!""

There are absolutely no deluxe rooms available for our stay (8/8-8/16)!!!!!

I'm hoping that maybe there's a night or two during our stay that's sold out...not the entire time!!

I don't understand why they'd offer new discounts if they're already full???

Anyway, I hope it's not stupid crowded...I know it will be crowded, but I hope it's not insane.

I hope so also. We booked YC CL and BC for August 6-13 and got 30% and AP rates on all of it. The crowds should be manageable, at least I hope so

Just a warning.. this is the time we have gone the past two times and its crowded.. 90 minute waits on rides like Soarin.. Test Track at epcot.. reason im say this is i remember seeing it on the board when you walk in..

I have been trying for my dates as well and nothing is open for the 7th till the 10th except for OKW and SSR with any type of code or even full rack rate. I think that the resorts are going to be filled but it may or not effect crowd levels at the parks. The values are filled because of the Little league torn. at the WWOS that wk and may have spilled over into the mods but they may not be going to the parks. There families were offered to buy discount park tix but there is no way to know if they did. At least you arn't at the value resot like me. If you want I'll trade I was able to get 2 days at POFQ.

Oh no. I am at POP 8/13-8/19. I knew I should have spent the extra $$ and booked at CSR.
