The kids were having a blast. Every-time they see each other its like they are old friends.
Juliana helping out.
We headed over to the Jungle Cruise to get a FP but the wait was 20 minutes. We decided just to get in line. I think the line was even faster than 20 minutes. I was trying to keep the kids under control. (they were having too much fun!) Then I started egging them on.
We had a funny tour guide on the cruise. Then headed over to ride the carpet ride. The camel was spitting but it didn't get us.
After the carpet ride CW (cousins wife)(i don't know if these are official abbreviations) was trying to get CS to take a nap. He was getting cranky. So we split up for a little while and Melody, Juliana, and I stopped by the Country Bear Jamboree. It was a cute show... it must of been great back in the day. When we got out it was parade time.
After the parade we met back up with CW & CS. Now Juliana was getting fussy. I made her lay down in her stroller and at 3:55 she fell asleep. I remember the time perfectly because Melody didn't think she would fall asleep. I knew Juliana would(rubbing of the eyes) so I bet Melody $100 that she would be sleeping by 4. So at 3:55 she was passed out. I WON THE BET! (i'm still waiting for my money though) We checked out a few stores and headed toward Main St. to meet Melody's cousin. We met him and did a little more shopping. Juliana woke up around 4:45. Perfect timing. It gave her just enough time before dinner at Crystal Palace.
The only time I could get for dinner was 5:10 and I had to have a split reservation. 3 at one table and 3 at another. While checking in they saw this on the computer. We waited about 10 minutes to be called. When we were seated, we were all at the same table so it worked out perfectly. Melody's CS(cousins son) loves the Pooh characters. This was his first experience at a character meal. Both him and Juliana had a blast.
CP was really busy and a few times when we went up to get food the lines were really long. They moved fast though. I don't remember exactly what was on the menu, or what I ate. But i remember it was all good!
CS's birthday is March 15th and Juliana's is the 11th, so I told our waiter and he brought them a little treat.
We had a great meal, and it was nice spending time with her family. By the time we got out of there it was 6:30 and starting to get dark.
We had FP's from earlier in the day for Peter Pan so we all rode, then jumped onto Small World. It was about 7:15 now and Melody's family was ready to go so we said our goodbyes. Its always sad to say goodbye when you know you won't see someone for a while. Spectromagic was going on about this time and Fantasy Land was clearing out. We went on the teacups with no wait. Then we headed on down to the circle in front of the castle for the fireworks.
We found a nice spot about 7:40 and were waiting. There was a family next to us who had one of those scooters. A teenaged girl was sitting on it with a 5-6 year old in her lap. I don't know what they were doing but the scooter went off the curb and was running over a little girls leg.
I tried to hold the scooter but it kept going forward so I grabbed the little girl by the arm and pulled her to the side. She was crying.... I think I probably hurt her arm. But i think it was better than her getting totally run over. It was a bad situation but it could of been a lot worse.
The older lady started yelling at the teenaged girl and I just felt bad for the little girl. We made sure she was ok.
It was just about time for the fireworks again!!!!!!! Juliana wanted me to hold her. I have her in one arm and I was trying to take pictures with the other arm. (btw you really need to hold the camera steady for fireworks shots which is hard to do when you have a squirming 2yrold in your arms!) We saw tinkerbell fly again and watched the fireworks.
After the fireworks we headed back to CSR. Busses were fast again, just like they were all week! We had another great day. Tomorrow AK!!!!!!!!!!!
