I think we ate at every character meal.. TRIP REPORT w/pics! FINISHED!!!!!!!

On Sunday we were having 2 parties. One for our friends kids and one for our family. The kids party a Build-A-Bear party at the Danbury mall. It started at 11 and Juliana was super excited!!

There were 10 kids at the party. At the beginning they got all the kids together and explained what was going to happen. They all got name tags and then it was off to choose their bears.

Once their bears were picked out it was time to give them a heart. Each kid got 2 hearts. With the 1st heart they had to make a wish for themselves and put the heart in their bear. With the 2nd heart, they had to make a wish for Juliana and put the 2nd heart in her bear. Next, all the kids yelled "Happy Birthday Juliana" and it was recorded on a little device that was also put in Juliana's bear. Then it was stuffing time. While everyone's bear was getting stuffed they sang songs and danced.

After the bear was stuffed they had to 'wash' the bears.

After all the bears were washed they got to pick an outfit for the bear. There were so many cute outfits.. from Cinderella to Hannah Montana to firefighters to ballerinas. Juliana ended up picking a wedding dress for her bear. (oh geez what am I in for?LOLOL)

After all the kids got their outfits and any accessories we had pizza and cake. Juliana loves Cinderella so we got her a Cinderella cake.

Here is her face after seeing the cake!

Okay, I just spent an hour or so reading this whole TR! Your family is gorgeous and Juliana is adorable. She reminds me exactly of myself when I was her age. I was little and petite, blonde hair with those bangs, and brown eyes. :cutie:

That Mad Hatter video was hilarious! I'm so glad you had a great time with your meals. :)

Haha, both my parents have dark brown hair too! My grandpa, me, and my 2 year old cousin are the only blonde ones in the WHOLE family! :)

When you go back, do you think you'll stay at the same place or try somewhere new?

I would stay again at CSR in a second! We loved it there. I guess it depends on what we were doing our next trip. We might be going with friends of ours at the beginning of next year. Probably around the beginning of March. Their daughter is 2 months younger than Juliana and their son will be turning 2 this summer. We might be doing a land and sea pkg. CSR is the only moderate (from my research) that isn't part of the package. So we might try PO next time.

If I had the money I wouldn't mind trying them all!!!!!!!!!!:goodvibes:goodvibes

Great report!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for reading!!

Great party. We had Calire's first "friend" party this year. We did a bowling one and it was so much fun, but took forever for the little ones ot bowl. LOL!
I've treid talking Dh into going to WDW a couple of times for her b-day but he always says no. :sad1:

Awe.. I love build-a-bear...never made one though. But I saw they have a "Hello Kitty" bear...so I'm really thinking about it

I haven't stayed at CSR before, but we have eaten at the Maya Grill. It is a gorgeous resort. :) Oh wow, that sounds like it'd be a fun trip! :) I hope you let me know when you start a new TR, because Juliana is just so adorable and your TR writing was great!

We left the mall at 1:30 and got home around 2:15 and had to get ready for our 2nd party starting at 4. We were having about 20 people at our house. We had cheese & crackers, salad, garlic bread, and baked ziti. Melody is the pasta expert. She makes her own sauce... and it is awesome! We finished eating and it was presents time!!!! As any 3yrold would be, thats all she was talking about all evening. She starting opening gifts and got so many nice things.

We had a huge party for her 1st birthday. We rented a hall and had close to 100 family, friends, and kids. We had a clown who did magic then facepainting for the kids. For her 2nd birthday we just did a small immediate family only party. She was just off treatment and was still getting sick often.

So this year we had to include some of her friends. Who knows what will happen next year! ;)

Awe.. I love build-a-bear...never made one though. But I saw they have a "Hello Kitty" bear...so I'm really thinking about it

They have so many choices and the outfits are so cute. She made a bear before and had picked a ballerina outfit for it. She also has a Cinderella outfit for one. My mom bought her another outfit for her birthday- Tinkerbelle. Her bears have a wardrobe too!:rotfl:

I will check your TR out as well. If you are interested in CSR check out the CSR thread in the resort photos section. There are so many pictures of the resort in there. Also there is another thread in the resorts section that answers all types of questions about CSR.:goodvibes

I have enjoyed your trip report - very fun to read!

It's amazing how things change once you have a child and go to Disney, there is nothing better than being there with your kids and experiencing everything with them. You keep wanting to go back (hence why we bought DVC.)

We will be heading down again come this June. My kids are now 12 and 8, but have been going every yr since the 12 yr old was 2. It's a little different now that they are older, but it's just as much fun!

We still do autograph books, but now I make custom ones for them that have their own pictures with the characters from their last trip. Characters love them (as do my kids)! We love character finding, getting autographs and also doing pictures...

I am looking forward to our 1900 Park Fare dinner with Lady Tremaine and the stepsisters - I think it will be a lot of fun! Thanks for the details... :thumbsup2

Oh my gosh, her coat is adorable. But, wow 20 people?! I get tired with our 12 of family members that come to get-togethers. I bet Juliana has a blast though entertaining everyone. I know my little guy (2 years old) does. He's such a ham.

The last 2 time we went Juliana took pictures with the characters but no autographs. She really enjoyed getting the signatures this time. I think she will like it even more when we put our photopass pics in her book(its the book with the slots for pics). We have been keeping the book away from her because she wants to add her 'own' autograph!!! LOL

At 1900, they started playing music and Cinderella and the prince started dancing in the middle of the room. We turn around and Drezella was dancing with a boy 11-12y old. He was trying to get away from her but she wouldn't let him go! She was dancing sticking out her big (for lack of a better term) rump. It was really funny. You should have a great time there.

If you look to the right in the pic with her raincoat, you can see the matching boots. Now she wants it to rain so we can take her out and play in it. Too bad its still cold here, we'll have to wait till it gets a little warmer.:goodvibes
