Dh gave me a great mom's day gift...A CRICUT!!! I have been wanting one for awhile but too $$$$. He surprised me with breakfast and the kids gave me small items to go with it and he told me I would have to wait a few week before I get b/c of $$. Then he brought it out and I love it!! I played around with it before church but then I had to go or I was going to be late. Then I went to my sisters for lunch and then his mom's for dinner and now I finally get to play with it.
Where are the cheapest carts and which ones are the must haves?

I got the cricut expression last summer and I love it! For Mother's Day, I was told that I could get a couple of carts. I bought the Mickey and Friends and the Dis Fairies... I absolutely love them both!

As for where to look for cheap carts, I'm still learning that myself. I watch the sale ads. Michael's had Disney carts only for $29.99 through yesterday. Hobby Lobby had all carts on sale 2 for $89.

One great way to find out about cartridge sales is to read the message boards at www.cricut.com. Between that site and here, you are unlikely to miss any awesome sales.

I got a cricut for Mother's Day as well! Love my hubby!!! So far I have bought the disney Cars cartridge for $30 last week (after it slipped that he bought it for me!), I also bought a baseball and street sign cartridge for $17 online. So far-- I LOVE THIS!!! I didn't realize how much I could do with the cricut and now am becoming addicted! Love it love it love it!!!

Hi and congratulations. I also Have a Cricut ,its not quite a year old and still trying to figure it all out. I just LOVE the Story Book cartrige, its the most used. I also bought the kit to make my own stamps but have not opened it. Has anyone esle have it?

congratulations. I had gotten the Cricut Expressions for Mother's Day, and sold my personal Cricut.

I like the Doodlecharms, and the Life's A Beach cartridges the best.

I got my baby bug in May, 2007 and the Expression in November, 2007. From May, 2007 to November, 2008 I acquired 28 cartridges. Most of them were purchased at pretty good sale prices, and 4 of them came with the machines.
