I Think I've Lost My Mind

Only you guys will understand. I went to WDW a lot growing up, but DH is NOT a die hard Disney fan. He did agree to a Disneymoon on the dream a few years ago because DCL is amazing. Besides not "getting it" he hates crowds. When DD was 3 and DS was 10 we took our first family trip to WDW, it was awesome!

I broached the subject of APs yet again this month and was shot down yet again. DH and DS 11 just aren't as excited by Disney as DD & I. So my BFF (DD's BFF's DM) & I planned a girls only princess-tastic Bday trip for our DD's (born less than 2wks apart). We're hoping to do BBB & CRT and we got the Little Mermaid room at AOA (My FIRST time on property!!!).

That's really what started it, the Sept trip. I was able to talk DH into a family cruise on the Dream early 2015! So, while that's in the works I decide DD & I have to see A&E, since the Sept trip is only MK.

Thanks to a pay bump for DH and Discovery Days tickets, it's totally possible to take a mother/daughter trip to EP before June. That's 3 trips being planned simultaneously!

Oh, yeah I'm a Disabled mom who navigates WDW in a wheelchair so we may bring my DSis to be our runner to Norway for the EP trip. (so much uphill on the way in to EP!)

We went 4x in one year a few years ago and I felt a little bit crazy. But you are in good company here on the DIS.

Well, I did it. I was able to get an early Ressie to Akershus so I went ahead and got DD & I 3-day tickets while Discovery Days is still in effect. We're going to have our girl's day in June after all. A 3day trip with two nights at a hotel and a character breakfast are not in budget right now so it has to be 3 day trips.

Then I was worried that I had a day trip in June and two other days to use, but that didn't last long because I called my DCus-in-law who has a Weekday Day Pass to WDW and her DD is 2. It turns out she was planning a trip on Thurs! We're going to AK in TWO DAYS!

It'll be my first time (& DD's) to Ak . We got ADR for Rainforest Cafe too. I'm super excited. My DD & hers are hardcore Minnie fans I can't wait to get pictures!

I can't tell you, after orchestrating plans for DCL in 2015 and DD Bday surprise trip in Sept and debating getting Discovery Days tickets (it's a hard deal to pass up), what a relief it is to just go! One day, no hotels, no vacation time requests, no dragging a grumpy DH. I just can't wait to get my Disney fix!
