If there is no quality of life left, you'll be doing him a favor. We often do all we can to prolong their lives, but sometimes it's just not in their best interest anymore.

We've been through this and I know how awful it is. When a dog gets to that point ( as our 16 year old cocker had) it is the best thing to do. You will have so many wonderful memories to keep you company. My best wishes to you.
