I think it is called the Discovery Zone? Baltimore?

We're driving past Baltimore in 2 months. And we're planning a few hours at what I think is called the Discovery museum. Is that what it is called? And, am I correct in thinking that it is a great place for 5 year olds? And, it's right on the Inner Harbor, isn't it?

Port Discovery, yes its in the Inner Harbor, and yes 5 year olds do enjoy it. (Unless they are being trampled by older kids.)

Yeah, it's a cute place for kids that age. I agree though that the tunnel/slide maze thing that they have can be kinda rough for the smaller ones if there are bigger kids around, but other than that not bad. When I lived in Baltimore during college, this tutoring program I volunteered with took a bunch of elementary school kids there and the younger ones loved it (up to around age 9 or 10). They had bubble gum making that day and it was a huge hit with the kids so be sure to check into the craft type activities of the day. (They had make your own clay animals when we took my daughter last year, but she was too young to really care.)

Port Discovery is it! Discovery Zone is actually another business that is no longer in business (but had a location in Baltimore) and was similar to Chuck E. Cheese.

OOOh!!! I took my DD's there when they were like 6 and 3. We had a GREAT time! That was a fun trip.

Fun place...bring some handi-wipes to use...the place is crawling with kids.
