I think I'm Still Full!!! :) WITH LOTS OF PICS, FINISHED!

We visited the world from Sept 12-17, just DH and I and we remembered to take pictures of our meals, woohoo!

It was our 10th Anniversary and we had an awesome trip. We stayed at POP to keep our costs low (since we promised the kids to take them in May,yeah I get to go again) , and upgraded to the basic dining plan. We always eat breakfast in the room, either fruit or cereal (mostly all-bran , if you know what I mean) to save our appetite for the meals to come. The menu items we chose will be from memory as I did not save receipts. Heck, I was thrilled to get the pics!!

Here we are in MK with our first snack credit. I swear it was the best Mickey Bar ever! yum yum!!

Our first CS meal was at Columbia Harbour House. DH had the tuna sandwich, with chips, chocolate milk, & yogurt for dessert and I had a salad with chicken in it, water, and apple blossom for dessert.

The tuna sandwich was AWESOME, I was surprised!! We split both entrees. I don't like meat in my salad (unless it's bacon or crispy fried chicken) so DH ate 1/2 sandwich , the chips, and 1/2 salad with all the meat. The salad was average. Now the apple blossom. NOBODY has told me it was served WARM!! yuuuuuummmmmm!! Or maybe I just missed that part in a review. I did share!

Dinner that night was at Citrico's. I had The Filet and DH had Bershire Pork 2 ways. Just so you know, neither one of us like seafood, so that makes us kind of boring. Which brings me to the reason why we didn't have an app. Most of the appetizers had some form of fish or seafood. I was hoping they would change the soup to a "fall" type like butternut squash or something ,but no such luck. We are big dessert people, though.

Oh, and we both chose lemon cheesecake for dessert and loved it again this year. We went to Citricos last year and DH got the filet and I got the short ribs. I loved his filet soo much I got it this year and he tried the pork for a change. He ate 1/2 my filet, it was too much for me and I wanted my whole dessert and he ate his whole meal also. Honestly, I just don't get how people can do the deluxe plan. I just can't pack it away like I would like to. Next trip I'm 99% sure we are going to pay OOP. He liked the pork, but thought the filet was better. The potatoes rocked! I can't remember our waitress name but she was awesome , and she brought us each a complimentary glass of champaigne to celebrate.

Oh, and in the back of the pic of dessert is the best tea in all of Disney!

The next day we went to HS. We went to Starring Rolls and split the sandwich, and apple, and dessert. Here they are.

This is a snack we shared later from Starring Rolls , chocolate and peanut butter cupcake! I wasn't keen on this choice (was DH pick) I wasn't in the mood for cake or chocolate. Well , was I surprised!! It was probably one of my favorite snacks of the trip. We watched 2 guys trying to measure the street while eating it. They were hilarious!

The sandwich was good, just hard to eat, not to mention split! We just took a knife and fork to it and went to town. Of course the fruit tart was delicious!

I see in your pic that you have a Bobble water bottle - we love those, too! Is that lanyard a special carrier for it? Or did you just wrap it around the bottle?

Thank-you ! I am determined to finish this report. It's only my 2nd attempt, the first one I failed, with both pics and, well, I didn't finish it. First of all, the pics were mostly of half eaten food, not so appetizing, not to mention we didn't take very many pictures.

We also loved our water bobbles! I just used a water bottle strap that you can buy at most of the carts that sell ice cream and drink. They were 3 to 4 dollars, I believe. We bought one a couple years ago and another last September. I'm sure they still have them.

After a refreshing swim we went to Cape May for dinner. Now as I said previously neither one of us eat seafood, but I have read reviews about Cape May , even for non-seafood lovers, so I thought we'd give it a shot. Besides, when I was a kid I remember trying lobster and not minding it, so I figured it was a "cheap" way to try the crab legs. Well, first of all, our server was awesome and she showed me how to crack the crab legs. You should have seen me trying to crack them with the crackers, getting no where! Well, we both tried them, didn't mind them, but didn't love them. I swore they still had a bit of a fish taste. The rest of the buffet, not counting the dessert for me was meh! It was OK. To be quite honest, I much preferred Chef Mickey's What I found missing was salad fixings and a couple items had pesto which I'm not a huge fan of so I felt there wasn't a whole lot to choose from. The ribs weren't that great either. The desserts were good, I prefer the oreo mousse domes at CM over the oreo bonbons at Cape May, though I'm glad I got to try them. The
The atmosphere I LOVED, our server was AWESOME, but the food was just ok. We are happy we tried it, I would go back if my parents come with us (they both love seafood), but if not, I would try breakfast there.

LOL!! Starring Rolls was awesome, we are going back in May to try more of those treats!!
