I think I picked the wrong resort

We are staying at Caribbean Beach. I thought it looked really cool and they said the have a slight Nemo motif in the rooms which my ds will love. There's a huge lake in the middle that I thought would make for great pictures of him, too.

"While the resort might not be small, they do have CM's driving around on golf carts that will pick you up and drive you where you want to go, so even if you were staying at the back of the resort, you could ride the golf cart up to the front for dining or whatever."

Don't count on this! We couldn't catch a single ride our last stay. Some conventions pay for 'golf cart taxi service' and all guests benefit, and some CM's may offer a ride, but this is not a service the resort offers.

We just got back this past week from 9 nights at CSR, and we loved it there. It is really beautiful.

The only golf carts we saw during our trip were run by bell services dropping luggage off and picking it up to bring it to El Centro. From what I understand, the discontinued the golf cart "shuttle" service. I can also tell you that we had a second floor room in the Cabana's section which was a great location for us, BUT..it was a long winding walk from the elevator. I would suggest requesting a first floor room due to medical condition. If they do put you in a second floor room, I would ask to make sure that it is nearby an elevator to decrease your walking time to get to your room. My only other suggestion if you are looking for less walking is to go back to POFQ if you have stayed there before and enjoyed it.

You will love CSR if you do stay there. It is a very restful and relaxing resort.
