Boy you guys are right, you can feel the difference. I just got a pin off ebay,
and as soon as I ulled it out of the package, it did not feel right. It has the (c) Disney, the pin trading logo, came on a card, but it feels lighter than even the little cast lanyard pins. (I pulled some out the compare.) I don't know though, he has mostly positive feedback, and honestly, I'm new at Pin Craze, so do I not know what I'm talking about?
It just doesn't feel right...

Do you have a picture of it?

One of the main challenges of Disney pin trading is that there are few real guidelines to go by. For example, most of the pins that Disney sells in "starter" and "booster" sets are made out of lighter, cheaper metals and are generally of a lesser quality than the pins sold individually. That's why they're sold in packages of four for $25 or whatever. But they're still legitimate Disney pins. So the weight of a pin really isn't a good indicator of whether it is a fake or not.

Recently I purchased a large lot off EBAY and there were 2 fakes (1 was very obvious and the 2nd was a little harder to tell...but in the "Official" it was spelled "Offigial"...honestly I doubt any one knew)...I PM'd the seller and she said she would offer to replace-I shipped them back and she sent me 2 new ones in replacement...I was very happy, and I am hoping the seller was too. I would buy from this seller again just based on the professional way she handled the whole transaction.
