Dear OP,
Please don't worry about this.
You opened up a can of worms here.
Little did you know the "holier-than-attitude" that can materialize on these boards.
Please don't be concerned about the Morality Police.
I'm sure they all drive at or below the speed limit so their kids don't think they're are "cheaters!"

Have a good time on your vacation!!!

I do hope you are kidding. Because this is definetly the funniest thing I heard on here in a while.

The GF police will be waiting for the family when they check in. " We read your posts on the Dis boards and we know your 2 yo is really 3. Get out!"

Again! :rotfl2:

Believe me, Disney has security everywhere..even at the gate when you try to get into the lot. They know a lot more than people think. I've heard they even have security posing as normal people and they go around and chit chatwith guests and see if they belong there or at the pool. I'm leery of anyone who asks any personal question.
Thats why its best to do the right thing ...You won't have that nervous stomach feeling. :thumbsup2

Read post #39. They DO. Obviously many people try to save money by lying about their children's ages.

Well there must be alot of CM's who don't do their jobs, because of all the trips we took before the kids were 3 yo, not one CM ever asked my kids ages.

As I stated previously, my DS was well over 40 " at 2 1/2 and the CM's never batted an eye. My DD even told a CM she was 4 once when she was really 2. Just blared it out going through the line. The CM laughed and said, Oh honey you look way too small to be 4.

As I said before I've passed my 3 yo off as 2 and didn't sweat it and if I was the OP, I wouldn't either.

Can't you just buy a ticket for the 3 year old that's unconnected to your room (from Undercover Tourist or somewhere?) That way, you wouldn't be cheating Disney out of any money--well, except for the Dining Plan, but since you won't be paying for the baby, she won't get any food from it, either. Just a thought.

I would try to fix this by calling Disney (not from my home phone) and seeing if there are any openings at a similar cost). If there is no way to change the rooms to a hotel you feel happy with, then I'd just buy an extra child's ticket separately and let the rest go. Have a great trip! :)

Are you one of those Disney security people who secretly work for the GF and are on here policing the boards. SHHHHH! ::cop:

Looks like your busted OP. :lmao:

Please be careful, they have the power to throw you out if you lie...
do you really want to be see every approaching cast member as the one who will ruin your vacation?

Even if I made a non intended mistake I'm sure my nose would lighten up like I was Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer every time I saw a CM even look at us.:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Actually, my friends all think I'm crazy for driving the speed limit. But I do, because it is the right thing. Too bad so many people have seem to loose their moral compass. I'd rather be known as part of the Morality Police then known as a thief. Because what you are suggesting IS stealing, plain and simple.

Ohno! Believe me, OP, I would never report you. I think that would be mean :hippie:

Im just afraid she could ruin her vacation because of a simple mistake.
Thats why its good to do the right thing! :thumbsup2

OMG, i've had family laugh at me when they asked me what speed i drive on the highway and i said whatever the speed limit is. Let them teach their kids to be the bad ones. Not me. :thumbsup2

Cannot afford points backspace. :rolleyes1

So much talk and fret about nothing. I have made the same "mistake" when booking months ahead. My 2 yr old turned 3 before the visit and nothing happened!! My older kids were not scarred for life - the people at the park gates do not ask ages, and if in a stroller they just let them through. OP, just go and enjoy the trip, and it is not wrong!! Have a magical trip.

On your compass it's stealing....on mine it's not.

That's what makes the world go 'round! ::yes::

ita with maxiesmom here. passing off a child as not the correct age isn't cool, no matter what the reason is. it isn't a good way to start out your vacation. i can't believe some people in this post say its o.k. because of disney making enough money, that isn't even the point! :confused3

to death, can the moderators please close this. We're just going around the same circle we always do.

OP, please forgive us all here, you had no way of knowing the can of worms you were opening.

This is turning into a debate. So its time to get your last comments in. The rules have been stated. Thank you everyone.

Last comments? OP, just call and ask someone at Disney what you should do. Who knows, they may tell you that you are fine. But if they don't, then you have to decide for yourself what you will do.

Sure do wish some of those 'undercover cops' have been at SAB and Luna Park when I was there!!! Sure would have solved some issues, but that's another story for another post.

OP...your dh made a simple mistake. Disney says 5 in a room, with one under 3 in a pack and play. So....your dh gave your dd's age at the time of booking. Your dd will have just turned 3 when you get there...she will be sleeping in a pack and play. I'm basically a pretty moral person, but I would let this one slide. We're talking about a few months, with a child who isn't going to eat enough or ride enough attractions to warrent a park pass or meal ticket. Stealing? Perhaps. I just don't see it as that big a deal.

I know I said I made my last comment, but I can't help it. :(

Disney does not sell tickets by what rides you will ride, or set meal prices by the amount of food you will eat. If they did, we wouldn't have had to pay for my 13yr old niece to eat last month. The girl eats like a bird! Not to mention, this is the first trip out of 5 that the kids went on any of the major attractions. Disney sets their prices by age, and the OP is at a point where she should pay extra for her lodging and pay for her child to get in the parks, and eat. The right thing to do would be to pay for every child according to the age they will be during the trip. Could she get away with it? Most likely. But that doesn't make it right.
