I have to laugh at myself, since we have more than a month to go! :rotfl2:

I am a bit in denial about packing so early, putting things in shopping bags rather than pulling out a suitcase, but I am running out of closet space and need to suck it up and pull out a suitcase!

We are doing WDW and a cruise. I am also running the princess 1/2 and leaving a day ahead of DH and kids. Right now I am gathering things for the cruise that we will not need at WDW or here before we leave.

I am so ready to go on the trip, but not quite finished with training, so good thing we have some time.

Any one else packing???

I always start putting things in a suitcase waaaaaay in advance. I have a big walk in closet so I put pop up hamper or suitcase in the corner and start tossing things in there as I think of them. Since doing this I never forget anything. I used to be really bad for forgetting important stuff....my toothbrush, deodorant, bathing suit to name a few. Now I just put either half used ones that I can throw out before coming home or new things that I have purchased for the trip. It also makes it easier to weed out items before the final pack.

After the last trip I left the stuff we didn't use in the luggage. Like glowsticks (brought too many), ponchos, flashlight-hope I remembered to take the batteries out, laundry bag, etc. All of it is stuff just for WDW, I don't use it the rest of the year.

Ohh.. the ponchos! Need to go get those tonight before I forget about them!

I have read other people doing the same with luggage or a storage tub. Think I might try that for next time.

I forgot my toothbrush last year, but packed everyone else's! :rotfl2:

I don't have that problem. I pack my cosmetic bag (don't really use any makeup) which has a toothbrush, toothpaste, dental floss, hair elastics, deoderant and Q-tips. I only use those items when going on vacation or overnight somewhere.

Been throwing things into what I am using for the carry on. once that gets full I will need to get out the suitcae.

Do you know where I put my spare sunglasses from last summer?

I've started a pile in the corner of my room! We aren't going to Disney this March break, but on a Carnival cruise. Kinda gives you a lift to think of going away when it's 14 degrees....not counting the wind chill outside!!:scared1:

Hey, we are also going down for the Princess Half-Marathon. We'll be at AKL from March 3rd to 11th!

I haven't started packing yet but I am thinking of getting a new bathing suit for the trip...

Think that is a huge reason behind my packing! The return of winter has been brutal!

Have a great time! We were originally going to be at ALK March 9-11. Looks like a great resort.

Good luck with your run!
