So far so good, a little tired and a mild headache but I think that is more from the heat ( I do yard duty at the school). So wish me luck.
 
I'm feeling about the same...mild headache and nausea...I hope it gets better!

I went to the store and got a couple of low carb protein bars (only 3 g of carbs) b/c by this afternoon my sweet tooth was aching!

Hang in there! I'm shooting for a cheat-free induction. Want to join me?
 
Sure I'll join you. I went to the store and bought some Crystal Light Lemonade to kill my sweet tooth, and to give me something different then water. I also got some sugar free jello, but I need to make sure it is ok to eat it. Good Luck!!! I am hoping for 20lbs gone before our trip in 101 days.
 
I was reading the one-week induction plan on atkins.com today and it had sf jello on it. I also heard of people using sf jello and whipped cream as a snack. Hubby and shared some raspberry tonight after supper.

He's doing this with me...he could lose some weight too. He's so encouraging and is really impressed by the support I'm getting from the boards.

Do you have an exercise regimen? I'm doing Walk Away the Pounds for Abs (2 miles) and Pilates (20 minute DVD). I try to do both every day, but today I just walked.
 

I do alot of walking at work and since I only live down the street from the school(work) I walk there and back, but it is not far. I am going to start walking on my treadmill or maybe I will dust off the WATP videos. I also have a total gym that I am going to start working out on to firm up what is going to be alot of flab when all is said and done, as I have alot of weight that needs to come off (110 lbs). I am trying to get my husband on it , but so far it looks like it may only be at dinner time, but he is very supportive in what I am doing. I also want to put my kids on a less stricter version of it. We all could be a little healthier in this house. I am definately going to be taking advantage of the jello for dessert.
 
WISHing you both success. I have been eating low carb for almost a year now (cheat free too) and I will never go back. Eat as cleanly as you can for the first two weeks...eat the foods on the induction list... and you will kill the sugar cravings. I promise it does get easier. If you feed the sugar cravings... it does not always help get you moved past that phase. If you must have sweet - the sugar free jello is one of your best options... rather than the bars. The bars are notorious for causing weight loss stalls for many people.

Congratulations on your choice to go low carb. Keep us posted on how it goes.

My favorite treat is Diet Rite Tangerine soda with a dash of DaVinci Vanilla syrup & some heavy cream. It's like an orange creamsicle. You can also make a mock root beer float this way too. YUMMMY!!!!

I agree...the SF jello saved my life while on induction.

DO NOT use the bars or other stuff like that on induction!!! Stick with the induction list!!:D
