I have been reading but didn't realize I hadn't posted. Love all the pictures. How neat all the special appearances on Easter. The Easter shirts are so cute. I have never seen any like that.

Yeah, I wasn't sure what to expect that day. But it was a lot of fun !
Peter was great with the boys and talked with them for quite a while. It was so cute.

It just so happens the school colors are green and gold, so if you wore either color to the dance, you got in for free ! I was like "hey, we have green shirts !!" The boys classmates loved the shirts.

Awe thanks !! The boys inherited my families blue gene .. my dad and granddad have the same eyes. They get lots of compliments on them.

So after we left Peter Pan we headed off toward Adventureland.

First stop was Swiss Family Tree House .. no pics here ..

So after the treehouse we headed off to a classic .. Jungle Cruise !! I love this ride with all its animatronic animals and corny jokes.

So as we were taking our tour the guide turned around and asked Jayden if wanted to take over the steering wheel !! At first he was shy .. but I poked and prodded him until he finally agreed .. here's a little clip of his sailing skills .. click the pic ..

I thought it was great !! Jesse wouldn't do it .. but that's ok .. it was a lot of fun after all these years of riding and Jayden finally got to take the wheel .. he thought it was neat.

Nobody wanted to do the Carpets or Tiki Hut .. so we continued on to ..

After we were done with that we headed over to get some lunch ..

I actually got the boys some chicken strips from across the way at the little booth and then Jeremy got taco salad and I got a burger.
As we ate I overheard a lady telling her son that they were going to go on BTMRR after lunch so I informed her that it was closed. Her son was pretty upset (as were mine, but at least they knew beforehand) so she had to promise him there would be plenty of other rides. He got over it pretty quickly though when he was surprised by his cousin, whom he had NO idea was coming ! It was so cute to watch his face when his cousin appeared behind him. I was almost in tears. (dork).

After lunch we actually headed over to SPLASH MOUNTAIN !! Now this is HUGE for us since the boys always refuse to ride this !! They agreed to ride this time because BTMRR was closed and they were itching for a thrill ride.

They LOVED it and were very happy that they didn't get wet !! The one and only time they ever rode it, they happened to get splashed and were NOT happy (they were like 3yrs old) and so after that they refused to ride it anymore. I was so happy they changed their mind .. and so were they. We now have a new favorite ride at MK !!

As we headed out of Adventureland the afternoon parade was just about to go by so we stopped at teh exit of the wooden bridge and watched .. they Easter girls were at the head of it .. but after that it was just the normal parade ..

I left off with us watching the parade and once it ended we headed over to Liberty Square .. our first stop .. one of my favorite classics ..

We opted to go to the shorter line and bypassed the "fun" part .. but we'll hit that up next time.
Once we had our heads switched and stretched we headed on out ..

Once we were done with IASW we headed over to another favorite of mine .. Mickey's Philharmagic.

I was excited to see the part of the new Fantasyland that had opened. Another first for us ..

It's a very short ride and since the boys loved it SO much they got right back in line (alone) and rode it several more times before I finally bribed them away with promise of ice cream ..

With the boys happy and full of ice cream we headed through the park ... we were getting tired and so we decided to hit up one more ride and head back to GKTW ... so we headed to Buzz Lightyear ..

So anyway, when we left Buzz I heard some music playing and I wanted to go check it out .. I found this ..

It was fun, but the boys were bored .. so we headed toward Main St.
I was starving since we hadn't really had anything to eat since Pecos so we stopped at Casey's so I could grab some hotdogs and fries.

Once I was satisfied and full we headed out. I wasn't sad though because I knew I'd be back before the trip was over.

Before we got to GKTW I wanted to make a quick stop at the Walmart at the end of the road from the Village. It was SO busy there for 9:30 at night !
I grabbed some Disney 2012 shirts for the boys and a cute outfit for my granddaughter. All very inexpensive .. much less than in the parks. If we weren't so tired I would have liked to look around a bit more .. but for some reason I wasn't in the mood to shop this entire trip !

Next up .. Animal Kingdom ..

They just loved it !! The CM working the entrance thought they were funny that as soon as they got off they ran right back in. Me and Jeremy were happy that they could ride themselves because we were all set riding it just the once.

Meeting characters is sort of a new thing for them .. They've only done it a few times ( with the exception of character meals) so I was happy to see them go up to them. It took a bit of coaxing each time though.
