Just wanted to say that I am loving this TR!! You boys are so cute! Even the 20 yo because he really seems to be enjoying spending time with his little brothers!

Today was going to be our AK day ... also, tonight was Halloween night at GKTW and so we were excited for that !

Right away we headed to Camp Minnie Mickey, we don't usually head down there except to see FoTLK but this time I wanted the boys to meet some characters (while they were willing).
Once we got there I ran into a young CM who was more than eager to help us to meet the characters once she noticed our Wish pins. She asked if we would like an escort and I said "of course !!" which is good because I'm painfully shy and cutting the lines really makes me uncomfortable. She was very good at talking to the families that would have been next in line and not one family said anything negative.

After we met with the characters we saw this guy and he improv'd a song for the boys (and some little girl standing nearby) .. it was SO cute !!

The boys didn't want to see FoTLK, so we headed on over to MY favorite attraction .. Kilimanjaro Safari's.

So as we were going along on our 2 week safari we were approaching the elephant area when Jayden says to me "I smell elephants" .. (ok, you had to be there .. it was much funnier when he said it !). Hence the name of my trip report.

Now one of my favorite things is when the safari vehicle gets stuck during the ride ! Especially when there's lots of animals around .. but this time we got stuck in a weird spot with not much around ..

Unfortunately our 2 week trip was cut down and we were dropped off back at the base camp .. but that ok .. we had ice cream to eat !

Continuing on, on our AK day ..

Once we left Kilimanjaro we were still hankering for some more animals .. so we headed off to Pangani Forest exploration trail. I just love these trails !! To just be able to stroll around and view the animals is so much fun and the boys just LOVE it a lot !! They are truly in their element when they are here.

Once we left there we decided to do a first .. Flights of Wonder !
Now I'm not sure why we never did this, except for the fact that it requires sitting and waiting and I'm very ADD (I don't use this term lightly) and so I think I just bypassed it to avoid having to be patient.
But I felt like it would be a fun break for us and a new adventure .. so we were off to see it.
I got to the entrance and went straight to the CM so she could see Jaydens button and she told us they were about to let people in shortly and to just stand where we were. There was quite a bit of people lined up and I felt eyes upon us .. but then I heard another CM explain to the guest that we were from Make a Wish and nobody seemed to mind.
Then the CM did something I didn't expect .. she let us in by ourselves !
So we entered the empty arena and picked our seating.

I thought this was the coolest bird ever .. the Bald Eagle !! I didn't realize how BIG they are !!

I really did enjoy the show .. I thought it was very funny and entertaining. I might not do it each time .. but I'll go back again.

So after we left Peter Pan we headed off toward Adventureland.

First stop was Swiss Family Tree House .. no pics here ..

So after the treehouse we headed off to a classic .. Jungle Cruise !! I love this ride with all its animatronic animals and corny jokes.

First of all... how did I miss so many great updates??? Second~ I cannot believe that boat is still around...I had not seen it in years...that boat brings back horrid childhood memories. My name is Connie, after one particular trip to the World as a child I went home bragging that Disney had a boat named after me...for YEARS after that my bff's step-dad called me Congo Connie. I lived to regret ever telling him about it!

My DS got the exact same hat with his souvie money...you can see it on DH's head in a goofy pic I took at CP in my last update!

It was fun, but the boys were bored .. so we headed toward Main St.

My kids actually like this little show. They like to do the conga line with the characters.

We have never done FoW either! Hmmmm~perhaps it needs to go on the must do list for 2013! I do smirk everytime I see pictures of it. We saw an episode of America's Funniest Home Videos with this show...of course they did not SAY it was at WDW or AK, but I could clearly recognize the stage from the many pictures of this show I have seen on the Dis. ANYHOW~ why was it funny? Because in the middle of a spiel the eagle being held by the trainer projectile pooped all over the stage and a few unsuspecting audience members. So I WILL make sure to sit far, far away from the stage when I do see the show!

It's funny because theres this guy .. I forgot his name .. but he's a "tour guide" who is afraid of birds and he is just hilarious ! He really does make the show comical !

I think AK was the best park for the way we were treated. I mean we didn't have any real bad experiences .. but AK seemed to go beyond the other WDW parks.

After FOW was over I noticed people lining up for the Jammin Jungle Parade. This parade is not something we usually do on purpose, but I figured we might as well have a go at it and just chill for a bit. It was getting quite warm out and so I parked the stroller and I left Jeremy to keep an eye on the boys while I searched for snacks (or drinks at least).

They had a few little stands .. but with weird food that none of us would eat .. so I grabbed some sodas and headed back to the boys.

The parade got under way and i was rather pleased that we decided to watch it.

Once the parade was over we decided to do Kali River Rapids. Well the boys did .. I didn't feel much like it, so I sat out. The boys grabbed their ponchos (they hate getting wet and usually skip this ride because of the potential to get soaked) and headed through the fastpass line.

They got off the ride all smiles and loved it !

Now if you hadn't noticed, we had skipped lunch .. again .. and so by now we were pretty hungry and I knew what I wanted .. Flame Tree BBQ.
It was finger lickin' good !

It WAS fun ! It was a great way to just relax for a bit too.
As far as EE .. I'm good for ONE ride each time .. unless I can be up front .. I found when you're up front the backwards part doesn't seem so extreme. But in any case .. it's a fantastic ride !

we got to sit in the front row, the back row and all over the rest...loved the front row too, got great photos of the end of the track!!!
we did 3 times in a row and then the other 3 times throughout the day, had to give my neck a rest
