I sent/recieved my Ornament Exchange

I bought my ornament at the Tower of London while on vacation. I put it in the mail on Friday, Nov. 28th.

Mailed off my ornament today......it has to go ALL THE WAY across the country....but it should be there in three days. Got it and a little something extra at the Disney Christmas store at DTD a few weeks ago.

I'm staring to worry. I sent both the OE and YCE out on Wednesday priority mail. My YCE person recieved his on Saturday, but I've seen nothing there from my OE person. Alas, I have recieve nothing from either exchanges as yet.

Just wanted to let you know that I mailed out my ornament package this afternoon and it should be there by the end of the week.

From Lynn McCann, aka "Dis-Knee". It is a beautiful shiny red glass ornament with a silvery-white band going around the middle trimmed in crystals, and there are holly leaves scattered around the middle with red crystals for berries. She also sent me an adorable Mickey shaped wreath that I have hanging on my pantry door. Thanks so much Lynn, I love them both! My box is going postal tomorrow!

We look to be about at 55 sent, 68 to go mark. Hooray for us.

To those who have sent and not heard back, some people are in WDW even as we speak, they are the lucky ones who go for Thanksgiving and the first week of Dec. So don't despair yet if you haven't seen a thank you.

And don't forget, mail out deadline is December 10th. If you are going to be delayed, please let me know. We don't want anyone dissapointed.

And finally, my package is due to arrive on Friday at it's new home. I had a great time picking out all the stuff, I hope it brightens someone who is very special's day.

Wowwy! Just returned from the most MAGICAL Thanksgiving trip ever to WDW to find my ornament had arrived alll the way from California! Thanks soooooooooooo much Tink33! Both of the shell ornaments are so neat! Can't wait to get them on our tree! What a treat to get home and find some more magic ... DIS magic is just as fun as WDW magic!

Also, our ornament is headed out to PA today!!! It was fun shopping for the ornament and little extra goodie to put in the pkg!

p.s. On on drive home, we encountered tons of traffic ... usually takes 8 hours from door to door but it took us almost 12 hours home. In the middle of our drive home, someone in the car just calmly said, "Can't we just get a fast pass home" LOLOLOL! I knew you guys would appreciate that corny little tidbit!

I believe DH mailed mine yesterday...it is no longer in the van. It is heading South DH hasn't sent his out yet, but he does have things to send....he is trying to find one more item to go in the box.

I received my WONDERFUL package yesterday! Thanks so much lilmousie!!! The Mickey wreath is hanging proudly on my office door and the beautiful ornament will have a place of honor on my tree when we put it up this weekend!

My package is headed to the Southern U.S. this weekend!
