I sent/received my postcard exchange

I received a Fort Myers beach postcard from Barry this morning, could not see the co-eds you mentioned though Barry , thankyou my friend.

First off, the Chicago postcards: The first one is a lovely aerial view of the skyline of Chicago "My Kind of Town". There is another one with a trio of pictures of Chicago's Chinatown. And my favourite postcard is the third one - a trio of pictures of the Atlantic Bottlenose Dolphins at the world-famous Brookfield Zoo.

Then I have received some lovely, lovely, Mickey & friends things. KimRaye has written a personal note on Mickey and Minnie notepaper and included another piece of WDW notepaper - and also a Mickey and Friends Magic Towel! How cool is that? I've never had one of these Magic Towels before!

And now - the very bestest part - the Cinderella prezzies! How ever did you know that Cinderella was my favourite KimRaye? LOL

First off - I got a lovely 'shaped' postcard with Aurora, Snow White and Cinderella on it! I immediately affixed it to the top of my monitor - where I can look at it all the time. DS (who is in his 20's) will probably refuse to use the computer now. Good! LOL!

Oh, and I also received 2 Cinderella magnets! One has Cinderella and the Fairy Godmother on it and the other has Cinderella by herself! And I also have a pack of Cinderella stickers!

You're welcome...there were supposed to be more postcardsthan just the two from Idlewild Park/Storybook Forest.
But the Pittsburgh Zoo said they were temporarily out of them, and sis didn't get the ones she said she'd pick up for me from Fort Necessity National Battlefield (where she's interning for the summer).

Boots: the notecard of St. Paul's Church in your hometown is a beauty! And I adore the postcards that you sent.

Here let me hold them up to the monitor, so that everyone can see them, as I describe them:

Now this one is of Cades Cove, which is located in the heart of the Smoky Mountains. Cades Cove is a scenic valley that attracts wildlife such as coyote, deer and red fox. Oh, Boots - that is just a wonderful postcard! Now next - we have.......

Now this one is Chattanooga's famed Chickamauga Battlefield with historic Civil War exhibits.

(Sharby holds up a third postcard with a twilight scene of the skyline of Chattanooga, Tennessee)
This is the waterfront of Chattanooga including the Southern Belle Riverboat, The Tennessee Aquarium and the Creative Discovery Museum. Boots notes that she goes to the Aquarium almost every day and urges me to go if I'm ever in Chattanooga. Hmmm, I don't think she'll mind if I invite all of you to go by if you're ever in the area......

Yes, folks - apparently the Historical Terminal Station at the Chattanooga Choo Choo is now a Holiday Inn! Boots notes that: Yes, you can spend the night in a railroad sleeping car and it has a gorgeous rose garden plus (this is the important part) it has 4 very good restaurants. The postcard notes that there is a website at:

Now Peeple! Whatever you do.....do not go to that website and click on the link to listen to the famous song - or you won't be able to get the song out of your head for the rest of the day!
