I sent/received my ornament exchange.

Good Grief, I can't compete with all you super organized DIS OE-ers. I am well and truly stumped on what to get my buddy. I want it to be absolutely perfect, and shopping with an active 5YO in an ornament shop is enough to make anyone's hair grey!!! (I know of what I speak) Maybe if DH and DS do yard work tomorrow, I will head back out to look. Of course, we are deep in the throes of Indian Summer here in NE, so shopping for an ornament seems a little odd.

I sent mine out today for pickup on Monday. It's being shipped south of me. I hope the recipient enjoys it. I had fun shopping for it.

Correct - the deadline for mailing is Dec 10. Don't worry if you haven't even shopped yet. This is a highly anticipated exchange so some people were just really ready!!! That's okay! You have a month yet so no problem.

I went shopping all alone last week and picked up one ornament! Savannah and I went to Walmart today and just couldn't resist another little ornament we saw! We have them boxed and will hopefully remember to ship them Tuesday!!!!!I hope the person who gets them loves them as much as Savannah and I do. I couldn't let Ashton(Oddball) see them. She probably would have taken them away from us!!!!!!LOL!!!!!!! I really love this exchange!!!!!!!It is so much fun!!!!!!!!!

I have received my 2 beautiful ornaments from A Kid at Heart (Beverly). One ornament has cherubs and the other has Santas and elves. They will look lovely on my tree!

I mailed my ornament last week. This is early for me but we are going away for Thanksgiving week, and, the time is passing so quickly!--I wanted to make sure I got it mailed out.

Thanks again...I love them! I can't wait to put my tree up. My DS was thrilled when I opened it and it was a Christmas package. He's my holiday guru! If I let him decorate, you would see our lights from your house!!

Except I DID buy the same ones for myself!!!! So now my OE pal and I will have the same ornaments. I've got them in a box almost ready to ship out. Probably on Thursday. Oh, and by the way, they'll be headed north.
