I sent/received my ornament exchange.

After a 16 hour work day yesterday, my day was made better by arriving home to my OE. Thanks, ricola, for a much needed pick me up. There was a victorian Mickey/Minnie and a Pooh with a picture of the Magic Kingdom fireworks. Brought me back to the "World" for a moment before I crashed into bed.

In it was a beautiful gold ornament with mickey head silhouettes on it.. (I'm not describing it well, but it is very very pretty.... ) and chocolate truffles from WDW!!!!

Oklahoma! OK!!!!!

Yipee!!!! I just returned from the Post Office and stuffed inside my box was a package from Snow White, aka Michelle! I admit that I ripped into the box while standing in line and nestled inside the Hallmark box was the 2002 Snuggle Time ornament!!

It is so cute - Mickey and Minnie kissing in their house in fron of a roaring fireplace. You clip a tree light to the back of the ornament to make the logs blaze! As soon as I get off the DIS, I'm heading out to the living room to hang the ornament on a special and prominent branch of the Christmas tree!!

Thank-you very, very much, Snow White and may you have the merriest of Christmases!!

Christine, if it should've been here, I'll ask my DD who got my mail one time for me if she may have neglected to pass it on to me. If it was in a box too large to put in the mailbox, the postman may have set it by my door. I live in a good neighborhood but still, someone may have walked off with it.

But don't you worry about it, okay! I'm going to do some investigating!LOL

Mailman was just here..handed me a box from Texas..opened it to find a wonderful Hallmark ornament of Pooh and Piglet decorating a snowman..Pooh and Piglet are our favorites..and I decorate with all snowmen..so this was perfect..also included was a cute note (cover of note was the Castle and Tinkerbell!)..from Jules in Texas..telling me about herself..and that lucky girl is almost on her way to WDW for a suprise trip!..
Thanks again so much Julie for the cutest ornament..I don't frequent the teen board as I am a little too old..I myself hang out on the collectors board..but have sent you a PM thru here..and am posting on community board about your ornament..wishing you and your family a Very Merry Christmas..how could it be anything else if you are in "the world"?...

I rec'd a very pretty WDW mickey glass ornament with "the merriest place on earth" on it. Isn't that the truth?
Also, Jetsetter sent me a ceramic snowman head ornament--very cute as I love snowmen.
Jetsetter included a nice note about herself. I really enjoyed my first DIS ornament exchange and intend to participate next year.

I received my package from Pooh's Pal, it was so nice. She was so thoughtful. I did mail out a package to FL the other day, so hopefully it gets there quick.

Just a question...should I have sent to the DISer who sent to me? My exchange went to someone different. Is that right? Wouldn't want to leave someone out.

That is correct Sandy...you send to someone and not the same person that sent to you. That's what makes it so much more enjoyable and fun!!! You never know who you are getting your ornament from until you get it!

The UPS man just brought me mine at work (I told you aprincessmom!! - it was addressed to the house and he brought it to me here!)

ANYWAY -- THANKS FANTASMIC! I got a lovely Mr. & Mrs. Snowman - which is what I sent to aprincessmom!! They're not the exact same ones - but isn't that funny?? So you know I like them!! She also included a little bottle of Vermont Maple Syrup - which is where she's from. I can't wait to get home and hang them on the tree.

I was so excited to come home to a box sitting on my kitchen table. Thank you so much TFMont for the Tigger ornament and the santa ornament. I love them! I hung them on my tree right away.

It's absolutely Beautiful and I love it! It's a china ornament with Minnie and Mickey in a sleigh!

I truly must apologize to the person who should be receiving an ornament from Oddball27!!!!!!!!She gave me her pkg to mail last week. I retd home today from a business trip. I get into my truck to pick up the kids and what do I see????????Sitting on my passenger seat is Oddball's pkg.

I got a beautiful heart ornament from Joanne. It's is a deep red color with gold filigree and little pearl beads on it. Simply lovely! It will be perfect on our tree. Still have to get it this weekend.
