I See Some WET Epcot To Resort Buses ....

Great, I will be in Epcot on June 10, hopefully the buses are dry around 10 PM.

I see an emptier TL after 2pm. That route just to go to the water park is a giant pita.

So if you are staying at Yacht/Beach Club or Boardwalk, you have to walk back to hotel through Epcot?

I don't understand this either, what if you don't have a park ticket that day and need to get to beach club. I think we will go to BB this summer instead of TL

If staying at an EPCOT resort, I would take a cab for sure instead of going from TL to EPCOT and then walking though EPCOT to my resort.

My "guess" is they will have Epcot buses for the Crescent Lake Resorts during this period-I don't see how they couldn't.:)

Yes, there will be Crescent Lake buses. This information was posted on the Transportation Board here on the DIS several days ago. It's really great to have a bus driver as our inside source.

I can understand that after 2pm there are probably few going to the park and lots of pretty empty buses rolling to TL. But coming from TL back to a resort after 2 pm makes NO sense as I think those buses are probably pretty full in summer. Glad that we always drive to the water parks, and even if we didn't, we would be now. Looks like Blizzard Beach is about to become much more crowded with car-less folks.

What a pain! So now ... do we go to BB instead? Or accept the inconvenience and hope that this will perhaps leave TL a bit less crowded? *decisions decisions* :)

Boy I cannot believe they are trying this - it will be a disaster with wet seats after 2pm every day for people going from Epcot back to their resorts. They would have been smarter to have the buses go to multiple resorts from TL, like ME does, to get people back without wetting all the Epcot buses!!! And i feel sorry for the YB and BC people who now may have to walk through Epcot to get back.:surfweb:

I assumed they just meant GOING to TL would mean a change at Epcot and coming back the buses would be direct. What a dumb move on Disney's part...

Just gone back and read it again-are they mad? Who wants to get squashed up against a family of 4 still damp, carrying inflatable wot-nots and wet towels (no offence) on a bus all the way from Epcot. Plus when you have been in the pool all day all you want to do is get home, showered and in dry clothes. Gotta love the Disney customer service...Why can't the buses go straight home from TL?

Had planned on going to BB on 6/9 and TL in the afternoon on6/10. Looks like I will be switching these two days!

Now I am soooo glad I changed to a weekly rental for our trip. Usually we get a car for a day or two for outlet shopping, then I thought let's make it a week as we are getting the h2o option for the first time. We plan on doing RD for the h20 park and parks later in the day. I figured a car will make things ALOT faster.. and the price wasnt that much higher.

REALL'Y glad I did this.

What a stupid, ill-conceived idea.

Not to mention grossly inconvenient for TL visitors.
