I saw the Dr today. He really insist that I stick to my twice a day eating. He told me I can snack on veggie when I am hungry. He is really pleased with my exercise and crystal light intake.

I am going to try and do it again. I am going to have DH prepare me veggie that I can keep in the fridge. I love cucumbers and peppers. I also am going to try and figure out what low carb foods I can eat that are bulky (to fill me up and keep me full). Any suggestions are welcomed. I am looking at a modified Atkins. Atkins foods but only twice a day.

I have to start reading up on low carb foods.

By the way, I did lose 9 pounds since the last time I saw him (3 months ago).

Glad the visit was a good one!

My DH LOVES red pepper slices with his lunch!!! I had been sending him to work with raw cauliflower or raw broccoli. Then one day I got some red peppers and sliced them up and he took them and he said MORE MORE MORE!!!! :)

I think you'll be surprised on an Atkins type diet that it is EASY to eat two meals a day. Cucumbers are a great snack, but try to remember to have some protein with everything and anything. I'm certainly no "beacon of success" but I know I have made changes that are now medically proven to be improving my health!

I'm happy to hear that you had a good visit to the dr. today. I know sometimesit can be intimidating when you go- and that you were worried, but you seem to have survived it today! Good luck with your Atkins, once you're onit for a little bit it will be really easy to stay on it!
 
Kathy, I have been waiting for your post, to hear how your Dr. visit went! I know you have been feeling like your surgery was not what you had hoped, in terms of results. You are doing the right things, and have lost 9 lbs recently! That is terrific! Really! The veggie snacks might help supplement your two meals a day. Keep us posted!
