Your welcome and they are beautiful photos by Corey. Disney should use them on their website and brochures.

***Off Topic.

I couldn't help myself, WDW Shutterbug just took a photo of the Disney Wilderness Lodge Lobby with the 2013 Christmas Tree setup;

Cute story and the WL lobby looks amazing. I guess that we'd better be sure to see it too.

Off topic again, but I saw this beautiful photo on Facebook from DVC of last year's Special Christmas Illumination Fireworks.

# 6 Mickeys Once Upon a Christmastime Parade

# 5 The Cookies and Hot Cocoa
Look for the big Candy Cane treat icons located around the park, as they identify where you can pick up your complimentary cookies and cocoa. Here are your options (and the hours they are available):

# 1 One word: SANTA.

My favorites are the atmosphere of the night, Holiday Wishes Fireworks, Holiday Parade, Castle shows, the Kiss Goodnight and being the last to leave the park when everything is quiet and the bus is empty on the way back to the resort. Then sleeping late. But I like the parks at nighttime.

Can someone help me with the timeline?

Castle Lighting & Cinderella show - 6:15 (?)
Parade - 8:15 (starts in Frontier land)
Castle Projection Show - ?
Fireworks - ?

We are still debating whether we want to go (well we know we want to go, but with a 2 yo it is debatable whether he will be up for it). I am trying to get the timeline down so if we decide last minute we want to go, we know the what/where/whens.

Can someone help me with the timeline?

Sure can. That is what this thread is all about.

Castle Lighting & Cinderella show - 6:15 (?)

The castle lighting show is called, "Celebrate the Magic" at 915pm. Please see Mickey's Very Christmas Party Guide Map below for description. In general the castle changes color all night very slowly in transition, if that is what you mean.

The Cinderella show is called the "Celebrate the Season" stage show is not held at 615pm. "Celebrate the Season" stage show is at 745pm, 1005pm and 1120pm. Please see Mickey's Very Christmas Party Guide Map below for description.

Parade - 8:15 (starts in Frontier land)

"Mickey's Once Upon A Christmastime Parade" does start in Frontierland at 815pm and 1030pm, but if you are Mainstreet or near the MK exit expect the time it takes to go the full route from Frontierland. Please see Mickey's Very Christmas Party Guide Map below for description.

Castle Projection Show - ?

The castle lighting show is called, "Celebrate the Magic" at 915pm.. Please see Mickey's Very Christmas Party Guide Map below for description.

Fireworks - ?

The Fireworks is called "Holiday Wishes, Celebrate the Spirit of the Season" and is at 930pm

We are still debating whether we want to go (well we know we want to go, but with a 2 yo it is debatable whether he will be up for it). I am trying to get the timeline down so if we decide last minute we want to go, we know the what/where/whens.

The very front of this thread contains all of the pages to the Guide Map below. And there are other pages that have information that might help you, too.

Below is the particular information that you were asking about in your post.

Thank you for your help Ray. Sorry to be redundant as I am sure that this info has been covered many times in this thread already. I should have taken a few minutes to read, but I was rushing around with a toddler. I appreciate the help. I really want to go and we realized that we can opt out of one of our character meals and save almost enough to go to the Christmas party, but I am still questioning whether it will work for my DS who can get very cranky when his sleep is off.

Only time will tell and maybe some of that special Disney magic will rub off on him and we will be having the perfect day to be able to go.

It is no problem at all. Maybe someone can post about going with toddlers that might help you. And, by the way, I love talking about WDW any way. Can you tell? I hope that you have a wonderful time on your vacation.

One additional question that I am not seeing an answer to. I have seen a show on Youtube where The Fairy Godmother asks Cinderella how she would like to have the castle decorated and the castle is lit up for the evening (I believe this happens before the party actually starts, but I may be wrong). That is the Cinderella show that I was referring to. Am I completely wrong and it no longer exists, is labled something different, ect?

If it does exist, do you know the time?

The show you are referring to is called "Cinderella's Holiday Wish," still exists and occurs every night, whether there's a party or not. It takes place around dusk and while the exact time escapes me...6:15p sounds about right.

Now I see what you wanted. "Cinderella's Wish". Yes, you can see this before the 7pm MVMCP even starts at 615pm.

Here is quote from wdwent.com

Cinderella's Holiday Wish/Castle Dream Lights: November 5 - January 6
Each evening of the season(6:15pm), Cinderella Castle shimmers with lights brought to beaming brightness during a ceremonial show performed at dusk. Cinderella and favorite Disney characters decked out in festive holiday garb take center stage and magically transform Cinderella Castle into an ice palace draped with 200,000 ice cycle-white lights – a breathtaking focal point to a park ready for revelers with wreaths, bows, garland, towering Christmas trees and scarlet poinsettias dominating the landscape.
