OMG I LOVE IT! She is so stinkin' cute! I bought that costume two years ago when I was pregnant with DS and it was on clearance for 4 dollars! He didn't wear it last year because I thought it was going to be too warm in Disney World...so he's wearing it this year!!!!

First, I just have to say Madi is far too cute for real life!!

Alright! I'm from Brewster, graduated the same year as your honey and haven't been back to the Cape full-time since. I moved to NY to go to college, then worked for the mouse for a bit, moved to S. FL, and now I'm in the frozen tundra known as Minnesota!!!

I don't have a PTR, but a PJ cause I'm getting married!! We'll be in the world Dec. 3-6, then 10-13. CSR, GF and OKW

Last night I am catching up on my DIS'criptions and while reading the December ADR list I saw someone had listed Wishes Dessert Party. I had not heard word that it had been extended through December, last I had heard it was through October. I replied out of shock and needed confirmation. No response. So I just called 407-WDW-DINE and booked it ! YAY!!! It's a surprise for Shamus, and Madi too - but let's be honest, after all we are amongst friends - I am doing this for me!!!

Now, if you recall we have designated one park per day (4 full days, two partial days) as we have opted out of using hoppers. Our MK day is the 7th - Wishes Dessert Party is SOLD OUT for this evening Sadness begins to fill my heart... I really wanted to try this ever since I read about it in June! Then a thought strikes...
Me: I 'spose the Dessert Party is not available on Christmas Party nights?
CM: You know, you are the second person that has asked me that? <insert lengthy pause here> They are available on Party nights, you just have to have admission to the party.
Me: Is there availability for 2 adults and 1 child on the 10th?
CM: There sure is!

SUCCESS!!!

After I get off the phone I realize that now might be a good time to order our MVMCP tickets. So online I jump and our tickets should arrive by 10/02!

And one last thing, called my AAA guy today and put down another $250 on the trip bringing our grand total remaining balance to $250... Am I alone with being scared to pay it off? Is this a normal anxiety?

My MK day is also Dec 7th too. Awww...I hope something opens up as I'm not going to be there another night. And I'm not doing MVMCP.

It would have been cool.

I don't know if it is normal to feel anxious over being paid up?!? I was soooo excited to pay the final payment--it made it a little more real that we were finally going back to Disney!

First of all, that Nemo costume is AWESOME! I miss my kids being that little.

Second, congrats on the Wishes dessert! I would like to do that, be we have usually had luck finding a place to park before Wishes, so we'll stick with that for now.

It's getting so much closer!!!!

I wish I could say we are as close to final payment as you are. . .I won't even say how much we still owe. At least it's less than $2000, lol.

I am excited and anxious about the final payment... I have been making weekly payments with my AAA agent and I don't know what I am going to do every Thursday from when it is paid off until we leave?!

I love being the decision maker on costumes, I know it won't be much longer before she is voicing her opinion! Less than $2000 is good!

I don't think anyone knew it was extended! allears.net is still displaying "extended through October 31, 2009. The cost for the two of us (Madi eats free - lucky girl!) was $46.84. The cost included taxes but not gratuity. So... $23.42 with taxes per adult. I hope you too can get in there and try it out!

The 10th is turning in to our Magical Day! O'hana for dinner followed by MVMCP, then the dessert party It used to be $17.99, you're right. I think the VIP feeling and all the yummy deliciousness will be worth it Did I mention Madi get's to munch for FREE!

NO WAY!?!?!?! I saw the dessert party too and was totally bummed when they weren't going to have it for Dec. Ooooo I'll have to look for a night we can do this and book it. Good idea doing it on your MVMCP night! I might have to steal your idea.

I'm anxious about paying off our trip too. Not so much paying for the trip, but paying for it and having enough saved up for spending money when we get there. I get myself nuts though and always plan on more than we need. But it's kind of nice coming back with cash you hadn't expected to have.

OK...all I can say is... YOU STINK! I saw that you had booked the dessert party. I had been watching the dessert party dates waiting to see if it would get extended. I was determined we were going to that thing! I LOVEEEEE sweet stuff! The chocolate covered strawberries have my name all over them! Anyway, you said they had extended it. So, I had to call and book. Well, the only day that they are even having Wishes that we are in MK is Dec. 7. As we all know...SOLD OUT!!!!!! AHHHHHH! Anyway, long story short (or kinda long), they had it available for the 8th of December during the MVMCP. Well, we were not doing MVMCP this trip since we had done it the last time we were at WDW for Christmas. But, I wanted the desserts THAT bad! Now, we are doing the MVMCP AND the dessert party! So, you just added $350 to my trip expenses!!! Thanks a lot!
I will be blaming you to DH just so you know...he is going to have to think that it was mandatory???? I can not be held responsible for these occurances!
LOL Those are some expensive desserts though huh? I guess I can still think about it and back out if I want. I paid for the dessert party, but have not bought the MVMCP tickets yet. Hoping they don't sell out before I make my final decision!!
