I Saw Mommy Kissing Goofy Claus - Dec '09 - DAY ONE, FINALLY (2/20) - PG# 40

Now I'm MAD!!! I set the alarm for 5:45, hear it, turn it off and sleep til 6:30... No biggie I'm thinking...

I come out and get on the computer and get on the Disney site. Error# E02020305001!!! Can not retrieve my reservation number!!!

So I come on the DIS to search for answers... Looks like there may have been a glitch and people were able to make their ressies anytime after midnight... I am thinking they have now caught on and I am the one hurting for it.

 DAMMIT!!!

As you can see from my previous post, I had a little snafu this morning GRRR

I dialed 1-407-WDW-DINE on my cell phone and waited for the time to switch from 6:59 to 7:00... as soon as it did, SEND! I got on with zero, yup - 0 - wait time! SO, without further ado...

My ADR's - for now... I'll be looking in to the online system to switch a few when it's back up and running...

---Edited at 11:40 AM---

To re-cap, I need to find dinner for 12/6 AND 12/10. 12/6 is our EMHe at HS and 12/10 we'll be at HS til 5 then head to MVMCP. I tried to get Ohana for both nights and both nights were either unavailable or too late...

Back to bed to catch a few more zzz's - I'll be back later to share some birthday pics and moments :goodvibes

---Edited at 8:07 AM---
I called back and added 1900 Park Fare for 6:40P on 12/10 (MVMCP) - but I am not happy with the time :(

oh no!! Well, if it makes you feel any better, I could not sleep last night so I was on wdw.com playing around with the ADRs since my time is Thurs or Fri, I'm still confused on it haha. But it was well after 12, more like 1am and I could only make ADRs for the Sat 5th, Sun 6th had not come up yet, so if there was a glitch, it was after that unless putting in your ressie number made the 6th pop in which I of course could not do.

I guess you will figure everything out. I'm starting to get into panic mode as you know we aren't on the DDP and just want a few so we'll see what happens!!

I've done some tweaking - see blue font in my previous post - now I am looking more like this :goodvibes and not so much this guy :sad1:

So happy you're content with your reservations! i love the online system..so much more convenient than calling, I like being able to do it myself! Can't wait to see pictures!

Glad to see you got most of the ADR's you wanted. I say if you really want Ohana just don't give up. I couldn't get one of mine so I kept checking every single day, several times a day and eventually I not only got the ADR I wanted but also the perfect time! I really do love the online system for this reason because it has allowed me to check restaurants over and over for better times when I decide to tweak!

sorry about the Birthday drama, that would just rot my socks, but you handled it well.
Poor baby to be cutting 4 teeth at one time, poor mommy too.

The birthday drama continued... but more on that later...

I'm in :goodvibes I work in childcare too and love it (daycare) I'll probably do it from home when we have kids :) Your plans sound great and I love the invitations for your DD's birthday party, how cute!
We're actually visiting Cape Cod (Hyannis) this year when we stay in Boston before we fly down to Orlando. I can't wait to go whale watching :goodvibes

Small world - we actually live in Hyannis! You're doing the whale watch out of Barnstable Harbor? We did one with my daughter in June and she lost her cookies - so to speak. But it was a great time otherwise and we saw some great whales! Hopefully the weather will be better for your watch!

Adr's tomorrow!!!!

Good luck!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you :)

I am most definitely going to keep this in mind - Thanks!

The party is over, the drama may still be there, but I am moving on - so therefore I am not going to air the dirty laundry of the additional birthday drama. Good riddance to bad rubbish!

Madilynn had a great birthday, at least it sure seemed like it. The party started at 10 for the kiddos and we had a face painter come in and paint faces. Madi & I both got little Mickey's on our cheeks. DF & I went and picked up the cake and just could not believe that this cake was for our daughter!

I am glad that the birthday madness is over and Shamus & I can now just enjoy our little monster ;)

ADR's are done (for the most part... if I can swap Ohana for LTT I will!) and life should calm down for a couple months

The cake is AWESOME!!!!:thumbsup2

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MADI!!!
great party shots and love the face painting! great job!:thumbsup2

glad it's over; I know parties can be fun but sooooo stressful!

good luck with you last ADR!! have a great day!:wave2:

Glad you got your ADR's sorry it came with a little frustration. When I called Disney to makeMy ADR's I gave them my ressie number and they couldn't find it, but they found me by my name, so whatever that was about.

That cake is so dear, I would have had a hard time cutting into it because it is just so cute. I showed the picture to DH and told him I wanted a cake like that for my B-day, he told me I wasn't getting a cake because I was going to be in DIsney over my birthday. But really don't you think that would be the best time fo rhim to plan my surprise Disney themed B-day bash?!

Looks like the party was fun, the painted Mickeys on your cheeks look great, and Madi is sooooo cute.

Funny you should mention plotting our own surprises! My DF never formally proposed to me - he gave me an "Intention" ring (his words). It is not a promise ring, not an engagement ring, but an "I intend to marry you some day" ring. Now that he has fessed up to this I told him that there is nothing I want more in the world than my grandmother's engagement ring and to be proposed to in front of the castle at Magic Kingdom. Here's the glitch, cause every good love story needs one! - my mother needed a little help funding her divorce so she asked her best friend for some money. BF sent her the money and asked only that my mom be happy, did not asked to be repaid or be given any collateral. Next thing I know I am having dinner at my mom's BF house (mom lives in Nebraska, BF lives here in MA) and I notice an all to familiar ring. Long story short, my mom knows I want it. Shamus knows I want it for our engagement ring. And the BF doesn't know at all. Shamus has 89 days to GET ON IT! :rotfl:

that cake is WONDERFUL!!! I agree, I'd have trouble cutting into it too! That was from a local bakery?! Wowww, thats like food network quality!!

I was away all weekend and obviously missed a lot!!! We had a baseball tourny for our oldest...long weekend. Anyway, glad you were able to get some good ressies!!! It was tough on Friday to get the res system to come up online, too! I was going to go on and try to change some tihngs around and couldn't get it to pull our res either.

Glad the birthday party stress is over for you. Looks like Madi had a good time and the cake was great!!!!! Tell her Happy Birthday!!!

I couldn't believe it when I saw it. I was waiting for Duff to come out in his Ace of Cakes gear! We had a local "cake lady" make it. It cost about twice the price of the sheet cake we would have needed from our local bakery or grocery store, so we decided to swing it! It felt so permanent cutting in to it... it was so tough to do

Did he win? I have been stalking the Ohana ressies for the last half hour/hour and am still able to get NOTHING!!! Well I did find a 8:55P, but Shamus shot that down quick!

She had a great time and the cake was amazing. The top tier is still in my fridge - we'll have it Wednesday, the night I'm not working nights.

Yep that's the one! My bf gets seasick sometimes so he'll definitely be bringing something for that ;) I'm really excited to visit New England, never been before and it looks so pretty and interesting :)

Looks like Madi had a fun birthday party and how cute is that cake? Love it! :goodvibes

I am sure you guys will have a great time! A friend of mine was just telling me that she went out for a whale watch (out of Provincetown, not Barnstable) and the captain said that it was the best trip of the season. They got to follow a pod of 4 or 5 whales and they were really showing off! I will be wishing you tons of luck on your trip! Where else are you planning to go/do?

I just got a ressie for Ohana :cool1:

I got it for the night of MVMCP, but the time is 6:40... how crucial do you think it is that we be at MK right at 7? I still plan to stalk Ohana for ressies until I get what I want :lmao: - but input on MVMCP is greatly appreciated!
